Summer fun: AGT's back! Bring on the weird acts

My favorite summer fun show. This year has Howard Stern no less. I love this show for all the weird, bizarre acts. I hope this year the winner will NOT be a singer. Go magicians, dance troupes, dog acts (which won Britian's version), and general bizarreness. :cheer2:

The acts suck so far, but Stern is cracking me up so I'm good.

Father/Daughter act No 1 were cute but bad. Father/Daughter act No 2 were amazing. The girl is a fantastic singer. I hope they go far. Her dad is there to give this kid a break. They are street muscians and she has a real chance to be a star.

So far it seems like the Howard Stearns show. I don't know if I can stay with it.

So far my favorite part is the new google ad with the muppets - great ad.

So far, I'm liking Stern, although he is a bit dominating.....but far more entertaining than Piers Wet Noodle Morgan. The act I like the best so far (only saw the first show) is the Earth Harp - that was fascinating!

I've only seen about half of the 1st show but I agree. The earth harp is unreal.

I only saw the end of the harp. Most of the acts were awful, but Stern is cracking me up.

He is me too. I do wonder how he negotiated all the air time for himself. Sharon and Howie are being ignored. I liked the father/daughter singer on Monday and dog ventriloquism act on Tuesday. I think they sent through a lot of good acts without showing them. I like the weird and wonderful for a few shows, then they start getting a bit old and I'm ready to see the talented. My favorite part of this show is the variety. I almost wish they wouldn't let singers audition and keep it more variety centered. I'm really hoping for a non-singing act to win this time. It's been a long time since one did.

I don't usually watch the show and tuned in for Stern. I think he's great on the show and will keep me watching. He's so much better than any of the "judges" on American Idol.

Howard Stern isn't obnoxious at all and makes sensible comments.
