I haven't seen Ukraine's Got Talent, but I was torn between the sand artist and the acrobats. Frankly other than the Earth Harp and the Olate Dogs, nothing really "zings" this year.

I think Dittleman and Cotter are ACTUAL Las Vegas acts. Especially Dittleman - new show each night!

Lightwire Theatre is cool, but version of black light theatre, which has been staple for the past few seasons.

I ditched the rock n roll painter because I knew a guy 30 years ago who did it better. Frankly I can hardly remember the parrots, but I always go for the the animal acts.

Isn't the parrot guy the one that called his bird to come from a building way across the street from the theater?

I still like Tom Kotter as the comedian. I also like the mind reader - Dittelman.

That is right -- he is cool.

I can't remember which comedian is which so I picked em both!!!

Todd and the dog were hysterical tonight. Absolutely hysterical. His material was brilliant. Edon was really good and the tweens will love him. I'd pick the dog to win.

I'm watching now. You know, Howard needs to leave Joe Castillo alone about his beret. Joe is definitely an artist.

I liked the earth harp guy, but his singers really detracted - they were not good.

I'm still on the Tom Cotter bandwagon.

Me too... he's hilarious. I like Dittleman as well.

I am tired of singers and dance troupes so assuming these do well, my picks are:

Round 1 (August 2829)

Eric Dittelman, mind reader
Joe Castillo, sand artist
Todd Oliver, ventriloquist/dog act
Tom Cotter, comedian
William Close, "earth harp" musician

Sand artist was dull so I would drop him. But why are 3 only going through? I like at least 4. They need to cut the auditions and quarterfinal rounds down to give the cream of the crop an additional round.

I also liked Academy of Villians, the Scotts, and the acrobats even if they perhaps aren't headline material.

I can't believe only three are going through... BRUTAL. I agree Rob, there are four that should be going through.

How did everyone see the program? Here it was sandwiched around the Republican National Convention. I wondered if people tuned into the second hour and if the ratings were lower for that hour. If so, it could influence the voting.

I dvred and didn't vote.
