The Daily Mail is such a rag. :blah:

Just so you all know we were so honoured and thrilled in Ireland to be a part of the relay and wish our neighbours and good friends the very best of luck for a wonderful Olympics. :cheer:

The Daily Mail is a frigging nightmare (but I read it for the celeb gossip!) I think it was lovely the flame went to Dublin, I'll never forget seeing the torch relay and think our close neighbours deserved it.

Actually, it should have been run through another close neighbour, Paris too to be:EVILLE: :P Nice words Fred, but you are so going to rip the piss out of the opening ceremony I know!

I know, it's pretty obnoxious even by Daily Mail standards!!

This did make me  though

Rachel O'Neill, nine, from Churchtown in Dublin, said: 'I came here to see Jedward carry the Olympic torch. It was awesome because, like, they're Jedward.

'I didn't know it would be a big thing with a fire on top, I thought it was a torch you would shine stuff on.'

aww, they are so cute!

I'm glad they survived. I seriously thought their hair would catch fire or that they would drop the torch or something.

I think that the Beijing drummers were so awesome that nothing could compare with them and that's been discussed already on tv - I'd love to see synchronised maypole dancers, a Welsh choir and Morris dancers, kilted Scotsmen and Irish riverdance ... :cheer2:  :slinkaway
But I won't hold my breath

LOL it's not enough to put up the torch for sale on ebay (which I think it's perfectly fine), now the flame itself is being put up for purchase!!
