Thought Maria/Derek and Katherine/Mark did very well with music that was challenging, given the dance they were expected to do.

William has a compelling backstory.
However, he is not a compelling dancer.

Maks wants Melissa to be Jennifer Grey.
She doesn't have the skill/heart for that.
Time for her to go, I'm afraid,

Other than Derek and Maria, the entire night bored me to tears. As long as they stay, I don't care who goes home.

Most of the dances did not work with the classical music selections. Maria/Derek and Peta/Donald were the exception. I enjoyed Mark/Kathryn but the music didn't work.

Loved Maria and Derek! I thought the vampire take on Romeo & Juliette was fine. I've heard that piece of R&J played, as background, for other ominous scenes.

I still like Katherine for the finals. I don't know who chose that music and can't figure out the costume choices, but I like the dance.

As much as Roshon is a better "dancer", Donald is the best of the remaining men. And he really tries. And Roshon just doesn't seem to connect with the ballroom concept as well.

I see the final 3 being Katherine, Maria, and Donald. Unless Donald gets bumped by William's hot flashing fan base.

Melissa needs to go. She is sloppy.

The worst part is Melissa Gilbert seems to think her dancing is on a par with Jennifer Grey's or at least Ricky Lake's. She appears clueless how inept and miserable she looks with each dance. She's more obnoxious about it all than Maks. Time for him to rest his ankle and time for her to go back to making Lifetime movies and pretending she's a star.

Yeah, it looked really weird when Maks just "lead" her right off her feet, almost like someone going the wrong way on an escalator.

If Rashon is the better dancer, how can Donald be the best? Just curious. :)

My ex-husband sent me this. If you love good dancing, stick with it. This 94-year-old-woman puts us, and some of the DWTS folks, to shame: http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=8LOdmka4_90

How is Bad Romance classical just because it's the orchestra version?

Maybe because of this (http://collaborativepiano.blogspot.ca/2011/05/lady-gagas-bad-romance-written-as-3.html)? :slinkaway

Cool. There's a figure skating version of her - I've seen her skate a couple of times at adult competitions. (It's been years, though.)

I think Roshon is more naturally talented as a dancer. But his hip-hop style keeps getting in his way. Because Donald doesn't have that background, but is an athlete, he is better at getting the ballroom genre.

I thought I was the only one who felt that way :slinkaway:
I can listen to her sing, but I can't watch her- it's just so bizarre to hear that voice coming from such a little girl. Immensely talent, though.

I suspect that she has the same "adult larynx" that the young Julie Andrews was blessed with two generations ago:

Realizing that, I'm not "freaked out" by Jackie's voice.

I hope that she will have access to appropriate training, as her voice matures.
I believe she is truly gifted; and I'd love for her potential to be realized.
