What have we done to you!

Seriously, you can never have too many pair of shoes :D.

Our client event was Wednesday. I wore the red dress, this one: http://www1.bloomingdales.com/shop/product/diane-von-furstenberg-dress-kimmie-suiting-sheath?ID=596313&PseudoCat=se-xx-xx-xx.esn_results
With these shoes, in black: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/via-spiga-rochelle-pump/3275128?origin=category&fashionColor=Red+Patent&resultback=1474

Saw this dress the other day (link doesn't work anymore) and loved it. It's :smokin:, cruisin. Can't go wrong with a DVF dress. I bought one last February for a trip to Miami for my husband's job and got tons of compliments on it.

Earlier this summer I bought this blazer for a trip to LA and love it. http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main/ProductDetail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524446484 401 Looks great with jeans or over a black dress.

Right now, I'm looking forward to the fall stuff coming out. My favourite shopping season. :)

Thanks Rafter, I do love DVF dresses!

Love your blazer! Love, love , love Smythe blazers, they always have such an interesting cut. Classic, yet different. Smythe is a Canadian company, right?

Right now, I'm looking forward to the fall stuff coming out. Ugh, I'm not. I was in Bloomingdale's yesterday and they're already putting out cashmere. It's in the 90's, B's. Can't start thinking about woolies in the middle of July.

I am wondering why I packed any long pants at all. It is stunningly hot in Israel. (D'uh.) But the nice clothes here are really expensive and I'm not buying the dreck.

And Naot doesn't have any new models this summer I particularly like. :(

In case you end up somewhere with really over the top air conditioning? :D

The weather people did call it unseasonably hot, which is certainly saying something.

Not to derail, but it has been unbearably hot in the north east this summer. Between the temp and humidity, it's just :scream:! I can't wait for cooler weather. The older I get, the less I can take the heat.

So, I'm with Rafter, love fall and winter clothes!

Today is the hottest day of the season in Israel, and I am returning from Jerusalem, which is bad, to Tel Aviv, which will be pure hell.....in a misery-loves-company way I'm glad it's awful at home too, then I don't feel so stupid for coming here in the middle of the summer.

and zemgirl, this is where I wear all my short cotton skirts knowing I still meet the standard for "professional." I just met with a NY Times reporter who was wearing khaki capris and a t-shirt.

Never tell me that's not professional attire! Skirt with a simple top = pretty much my summer uniform for work.

Shouldn't there be a new thread by now? "What do I wear this summer", maybe? :)

WE can have lots of What Do I Wear threads. We can have our own version of What Not to Wear too!
