Alright, show of hands. How many other people here would have known that word out of context?

Not me. :slinkaway

:slinkaway I did. But I'm a big Judith Leiber fan. Not that I could afford a Judith Leiber, they start at $2,000, for a small simple one.

Me neither. Though I do recognize Judith Lieber's name -- she makes the coolest purses in very unusual animal, vegetable, and other designs...lots of crystals. There was a magazine article years ago that featured some of the fruit and vegetable ones (eggplant, asparagus, pear)

Here ares some other cool ones:

Lucky, I'd love to add some inches to my height!

Now, fashionistas, I have another problem... Now that I've decided to keep the Jessica Simpson Calie pumps in nude, what type of purse should I get for it? It's a darker nude so I'm not sure if I can find an exact match. I've looked online for J.S. handbags but none seem like it would be an exact match. Does it need to be a nude purse? What else would work?

I agree with those who say don't try to match the shoes and bag. I would go for a metallic bag (all metallics are neutrals, so it doesn't matter which you pick) or, for a pop of color, something that is the opposite color of the dress on the color wheel. Of course, if it's a black dress, pick any color you like.

Those prices are actually pretty reasonable, for Judith Leiber. New ones are double that! Still too pricey for me, though.

I agree with a metallic, or black. Whatever you think you'd get the most use with.

Is a miniaudiere something for a mini giraffe?
If it's owned by a Russian billionaire, why not?

I don't know if I'm the only one here who has met you both, but I wish you could meet in person. Other than blonde/brunette, you are both glam petite ladies with a lot of style.

I'm lame, I haven't decided yet. I figure which ever one will look fine with the pumps. Am I doomed to carry the pumps with me around stores/malls so I can find a match?

Match, no. Just keep the shape of the shoe in mind when you try on the dresses. Personally, I love corals and greens with nude accessories.

Ok, thanks for the input, I'm thinking a black evening purse/clutch. I have visions of a black beaded one... hopefully I can find one this weekend. Aceon6, it's a basic nude pump. (http://www.zappos.com/jessica-simpson-calie?zfcTest=fw:0)

Oh, and we have to buy hubby a new suit. We have to get separates since he requires 46L and the pants that go with those are 40! WTH? Hubby's waist is a 34.

What is your price range for the suit?

Nothing big since hubby's still "working on his body". Since Sept. 2011 the man has lost almost 30 lbs of fat then gained 20 lbs of muscle and claims he's not done yet. After the dramatic changes I've seen, I believe him, lol. (I'm also jealous and hating him for it :D) The cheaper the better, is what he told me.

Do you have a Men's Wearhouse nearby? They have a really good Mem Day sale on and most of their suits are sold as separates.
