I vote for "Ruffles and Truffles".:D

Me too.

Golightly you make such a good point about how each of their pictures is packed with visual information.

I'm really looking forward to seeing them skate live for the first time. I'm prepared to bring folding binoculars, or maybe opera glasses. Where to get my hands on a set....

Ruffles and Truffles is nice .

At the rate we are going we will have to do three titles or more during the off season.

The DW fans may outnumber us ,though not sure of that, but we are certainly the more ardent and vocal.

Those pictures by Lizbet are just fabulous.

It is great that we are free to have differing opinions and likes and dislikes, along with the freedom to express those differences in forums like these. WHAT IS SAD IS THAT PEOPLE MAKE NASTY COMMENTS ABOUT THESE YOUNG PEOPLE IN ORDER TO ELEVATE THE STATUS OF THEIR OWN FAVOURITES. No matter how good or bad these skaters are, without the variety we wouldn't even have these competitions. So my thanks to all of these skaters for providing much enjoyment.....but Tess and Scott will always be my pick even more than Torville and Dean

I like ruffles and truffles as well
Anyway, whichever names don't get picked can be put back in the running in like a day when we need a new thread.

Hmm, online polls are deceptive. Any kind of statistic is deceptive, so I felt the need to pipe in and say that it is quite impossible to quantify the fanbase, especially if you're basing it on that one "who's your favourite ice dance team of the past season" fsu poll. Plus if you really wanted to get a clear idea of numbers, you'd have to take into account the number of fans/total national capita, and yeah there are just so many more Americans! And then you'd have to factor in what kind of person would enter a niche fan forum and vote in a specific poll. Both teams have a lot of support whose voice and vote are not accounted for in these forums. So it's impossible to tell!

Besides, it really doesn't matter my friends! It doesn't matter one bit.

Mostly I'm just really enjoying the friendships created in here. I think it would be a gas to have a cocktail party with the lot of you and watch some good skating.

Thanx Iggie....they are great. I am such a fan of Black and White photography. It brings out all the planes and expressions in faces, and shows forms and shapes so nicely.

...

You know a team is great when each image still gives you information, little details that you might have missed when watching the performance. Every single line is so rich in detail, there is such substance to their dancing, you can always find something to say.

...

so true

I still think Tessa's Aint No Mountain High Enough dress looks like a Hershy's Kisses.

omg, it really does! and i love it!

Hi BKfan, do you know if there are any deals like this for the Vancouver show? I will be going down to Surrey on 16th and only 1/2 hour drive into Van

My question would be what is considered "nasty comments?" I've seen that comment more than a few times on this thread and others and the biggest issue is that these days being "nasty" is something as simple as someone critiquing a program as we've always done. Nowadays, even doing PBP in a competition thread and stating that team X made a little bobble is viewed as an attack on these poor young people. Especially if team X is one of the popular teams.

IMO true nasty comments would be constant OTT attacks on someones appearance or personality.

Anyway, back to lurking/playing catch up reading the thread..... :shuffle:
