Saw him live with Ringo & His All Starr Band. Friends and I were not dissappointed. RIP Levon.

He also did a superb acting performance as Loretta Lynn's father in the film Coal Miner's Daughter.

The Band has been especially hard hit with members dying too young.

He also provided (superbly) the narration for the movie "The Right Stuff".
