Apparently Artur Dmitriev broke his leg... What a pity.

Rumours say that Shelepen is with Buyanova now. Seems good to me, because with Buyanova and TAT who often helps this group Polina can improve her basics and get some polishing (even though I think she improved a lot last season already), but it's obvious she won't be her coach's number one priority since Sotnikova is in the same group

She is in Sokolovskay group, not in Vodorezova with Adelina.

Atrhur Wener deleted this information from his conference, so i am not sure is this truth or no.

I don't know anything about Sokolovskaya other than the fact that she was at least partly responsible for Ovcharova's :yikes: jump technique.

And Deeva's :scream:

I'm afraid but I will stay positive that her jumps will remain intact and her skating skills will improve. Maybe she will have some voidy programs ;)

She worked with Gerboldt, after left Mishin, with Nikita Mihailov (untill he retiered), i think Arina Martinova, but could be wrong.

And Deeva's :scream:

Oh dear. Not very promising signs for Shelepen. :P

I guess her best bet at this point is to try to represent Azerbeijan/Belarus/Kazakhstan/etc.

So Nikita Mikhailov definitely retired?

I still remember Shelepen's comment when she won her international debut competition (JGP at Budapest) in 2009.

She said someting like "the most enjoyable moment was standing on top of the podium and listening to the anthem of Russia."

So she is definitely a proud Russian. And there is still a (slender) chance for her to represent Russia at Sochi.
She has never lost her strong jumps throughout these dificult time of puberty.
Good choreograpy and psycological support are all she needs to win.:cheer2:

Maybe this is a good change for her. She has the jumps. She lacks in other areas. If she goes to the coach who was responsible for helping Occharova achieve her awesome voidyness and for Deeva's fantastic extension, then she might be just in the right hands.

Her former coach might be good for jumps but when I look at Julia's tone deafness and her complete inability to interpret a music I think that Polina's lack of polish and ompf might partly result from bad coaching
