I'm not sure I'm that anxious for Meryl and Charlie to compete before the GP. Yeah, I want to see them. But I am not sure it's much of a benefit to them in the long run. They do so much.

I don't see any harm in showing programs to international judges before the GP. I saw V\M in Finland last year - they looked completely content and relaxed, like it's just one more practice for them. After all, they didn't have any rivals there and they even didn't need to worry about the scores, in contrast to the GP.
My friend said she wouldn't be surprised if Meryl and Charlie would be there, too, because these friends aka rivals are ALWAYS together. I hope, she is wrong. :D

I would like to see them come out fresh at Skate America. It seems like the teams have to do the programs so many times during the season that one more could make the skaters start to get tired of the program, maybe not but last year it seemed like Davis and White came out with such a bang at Skate America and V/M were so flat at Skate Canada after having been well received at the Senior B. Of course that may have more to do with the programs too I guess. Anyway, I love that Adele program too-thanks jobelle for posting it.

I had the oddest dream last night, which included reading on the internet that D/W were going to use the "Oppenheimer waltz" for part of the FD. Pretty sure that's not a real waltz and Oppenheimer was a physicist.

I think at this point it is clear that Meryl and Charlie will be doing a highly avant-garde program to the sound of a blank tape being played. I support this highly unique musical choice and look forward to what they can bring to the ice with this concept. ;)

Hey, nice find, it's not too bad.
The season hasn't even started yet, I can't believe I dreamed about this. I guess my subconscious took matters into its own hands, since D/W have not announced their FD music?
