Yes, she did. She's just finished recording an album.
With all great respect to musicians who self-publish, I don't think that counts as "getting a record deal." Major kudos to Beverley for starting her own label though.

Jordis not sounding too good on this...kind of flat.

ITA, she sounded awful. I thought Lindsay and Katrina sounded totally off key in Bittersweet Symphony - it was like Chris had to lead them back on key at the end. Lady A & Beiber sounded bad too.

Jermaine's guy group and Juliet's group songs were good. RaeLynn was tolerable.

Surprised Jermaine took it over Juliet, but he's in the Javier mold. Seems like a nice guy. Just glad it wasn't Tony. I hope CeeLo helps Juliet - she's apparently been very close the a breakthrough before.

Yep, I know the show ended a few weeks ago, but....

Tonight I saw Naia Kete and Charlotte Sometimes in a tiny club in Philadelphia and they were both amazing. Charlotte had an amazing voice and a wicked sense of humor. Naia was accompanied by a bass player and her brother doing some kind of beat drum thing. Her range was really surprising and she writes very catchy pop songs. So much better without the overloud 'house band' and production values of the show.

They're doing 3 shows total, one in Boston and another in NYC.

that's great to hear! I definitely hope the show will give some good exposure to those who participated, even if they didn't make it to the end.

And even though I despised Charlotte Sometimes' personality on the show, I'm glad to hear that she put on a good concert

Great to know that contestants on these shows are actually working/performing, even if in small venues.
