Has anyone seen this show? It might be new stateside but already aired elsewhere? I always find it interesting and, at times, howlingly funny. Though I have to admit some of the prepared dishes were not remotely appetizing. In fact some are revolting. I was interested for historical/cultural reasons but the two stars (particularly the woman) provide such wry commentary. The Regency Period just aired.

Yes! Loved this show! Especially the reading of the menus, that was my favourite bit. And anytime Sue dressed up in period costume.

Usually they pretend to be a married couple but they wanted to honor Jane Austen so -Sue- was a single, young woman without money and prospects. OMG she was funny--especially in the bar when she was trying to send signals to single men with her fan.

I loved the Edwardian one where Giles made a remedy for indigestion made from putting raw meat in warm water and drinking it. So funny.
