I think the timing of this thing is one of it's biggest problems.
I agree with bmcg. Too much excitement without a short time. Even before all winching is done with, there's another competition. :P
I feel it's like an overdose and am glad that I can take rest as well (like the rest of the athletes). :)

The OD would be here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0A-vLb3Dt9w) (with Tanith and Ben's right after). :)

And I don't think this was posted here, either - compilation of Team Canada K&Cs (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5LojI7FR44). It's mostly in reverse order of performance, so it gets rather drearier as it progresses. ;)

Thanks Lavenderblue for taking the time to compile and upload Team Canada's K&C for us to enjoy! :)

Awww disco is still adorably cute without the mistakes

I love their huge smiles throughout this routine. I like to see them having so much fun with each other and more evidence of their ridiculous cuteness :)

I think this is their one ex I'm just not gonna like cuz I can't seem to get into it though I tried. During the goose I was scared cuz I thought Tessa was gonna fall, but she didn't let go of Scott's hand and stepped off pretty fast.

It can't be taken seriously until you at least start by making the entries in each discipline even. It's weighted towards a country that is weak in dance/pairs but really strong in singles. That's a fact.

 I'll give you the dance comment, but that "weak" pairs team you mentioned just won bronze at Worlds and were the top scoring pairs team at this event.

T/T are fabulous. They're also Japan's only pairs team, and in all probability will be ineligible for the Olympics, so I would be inclined to agree that the pairs field in Japan is weak, assuming that's what bmcg meant.

Maybe this is just me, but i think T-S improve this exibition compare to WCh.
They did first element, wich they couldnt made at WCh. Tessa is reall star of this ex? she is shining :)
When they dance in one place - amazing. But they need a lot of work to do with skating part - they need to sakte in music. Hope Kurt will help them ;)
So season is over we could have rest!

Nice photo.

Everyone except Patrick is dressed to the nines. Is it me, or does he look like he's dropped by from IT to fix their iPhones?

Somebody know, what Zueva said to T-S in K&C after SD?

You´re taking this personally to be specifically about Japan and T&T. A team I was THRILLED to see win bronze in Nice. The fact remains though that the event is set up to favour singles vs. pairs/dance. Doesn't take much to imagine how the results might be if everyone sent two entries in each category. US would probably win and Russia would probably medal. Canada still has to deal with their ladies so the handicap for them will never change :D

I haven't seen it or know the results .. have no interest in watching as I don't understand why the ISU wants ANOTHER competition a few weeks after worlds. What's the point? And it doesn't even count.

We don't get coverage of this in England but I have to say that I have no interest in this at all. The Worlds should be the peak of the season for me.
Plus the format does not interest me.
I think when it comes to the Olympics that if you skate in the team event you should not be eligible for the other events (Just my opinion).
Plus there are too many in each team. I would have liked to have seen one male singles skater & one female singles skater & that's it.
If you add another Olympic event like this is should be number one priority for those taking part not a side event which for many it will be.
