Great now I can't fall asleep I'm gonna pay for this tomorrow, but I'm back.

Maybe now we need to send letter to ISU? :)
Ok I've read about this lady (Tarasova?) wanting to write a letter to ISU complaining about Worlds placement. What's her deal and what's this all about anyways?

Well onwards to the FD I guess. I want them to have that perfect last performance of FF that they deserve and to go out there relaxed and have a great time, can't believe it will be the last performance of it tomorrow. The season has flown by, it really doesn't seem that long ago that they did Finlandia.

Sour grapes

I don't know why, its not like D/W represent everything that was Russian ice dancing and were shafted at worlds.

politics??
it's one way of keeping V&M within range to give Russia a chance in Sochi?
it wouldn't surprise me.

Yea I hope they're not worrying about scores tomorrow just be relaxed and have fun. Being a fan of one team more than another is kinda funny to me; my friend did end up watching and she's happy about the placements and I'm sad lol .

Very true, I hadn't thought of that angle. The judges seem to still be going along with this whole 'either of these teams could win on any given day' slogan.

I am so tired of the levels in the rhumba as well. It doesn't seem to me that even the skaters know if they have gotten them or not. I sure hope the polka levels are a little more obvious if they count for so much. I don't find ice dance enjoyable when so much hinges on something I can't even see and even the informed commentators seem baffled.

Yea it's only WTT or whatever it is anyways :D. Does anybody know who team captain is?

I'm gonna post this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0mFhq3W1fc) of the SD over here. The uploader's "team spirit" while Tessa and Scott are waiting for their scores is priceless lol!

just watched the SDs and looked over the protocols.

http://www.isuresults.com/results/wtt2012/wtt2012_IceDance_SD_D_Scores.pdf

I'm no expert, but here's my guess as to where/why the levels were lost:

-Sequential Twizzles: watch Tessa's feet during the second set of twizzles, the back outside ones. She stops traveling across the ice during part of the rotation so this counted as a pirouette rather than a twizzle and they did not receive credit for the four rotations required to be assessed a level 4

-Rhumba Sequences: Again, it was that pesky step #12, the lady's closed choctaw performed on the right back outside edge with the free foot crossed behind. Watch when Tessa steps down on the RBO. She didn't get credit for the correct edge and thus the element was assessed a level 3.

None of these things detracted from my enjoyment of the program. I just loved it!
