To add on to what martyross said, I've noticed that a lot of people are using the fact that funny face didn't get the same audience response as die fled, it shouldn't have won. But ok anybody rmr last year worlds. Who clearly had the better audience response? Tessa and Scott did and I don't rmr an uproar happening about that they should have won, hypocrisy at it's best.

More intriguingly, of course, is that there was no Canadian on either tech panel nor the judging panel (there were Americans on both) AND D/W scored one more level four (on their first footwork) than V/M did. Intersting, no?

I still like to think Z/S are impartial towards V/M and D/W... at least Zueva should.

After this season and that comment I am wavering on my faith in team Canton a bit. Maybe US Skating Federation promises a bigger bonus to Z/S if D/W win Worlds than Skate Canada does for V/M

Anyways, just want to rehash the Sigur Ros a bit more. I totally get how some of you said that a FD to Sigur Ros would be similar to Mahler. Maybe they should save it for the Olympics to showcase the classic Tessa and Scott haha. Still I wrote to Skate Canada and they said they will pass the music suggestion to Tessa and Scott. So if you guys have any good music suggestions you can also try letting SC know.

Yes, this!! It's funny how people seemed to forget that, huh?

How do I contact them lol?

Since we're sort of talking about music suggestions I have one. This is from the Thelma and Louise soundtrack. There's two different versions. I love the beginning, it’s so beautiful and kinda somber (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CrTyeTP48JY). In this version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmCH7ENG-vE), it becomes more "uplifting" halfway through. I think it has a bluesy quality to it.

I just filled out the feedback section on Skate Canada's official site.

is next year still a year that they can experiment and do whatever they feel like? or do they have to start planning and setting themselves up for the olympics?

The last pre-Olympic year wrought Pink Floyd, so...

Pink Floyd was very experimental indeed. I mean, the program was, which is why choosing Pink Floyd was so genius.

The latter, I'd say.

What mistakes did Tessa have? I only noticed Scott's little stumble.
Me too. And some problems on 1st section of twizzles. But I should rewatch.

Very obvious that Marina and Igor wanted D&W to win.

Yes. It is so.

As for the music :)

Joe Hisaishi - Okuribito (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdhjHAGFQH8&feature=player_embedded#!) but it's for Shibutani suits too.

The Flower Duet (Lakmé) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Qx2lMaMsl8&feature=related)

Still want them to do something from Shigeru Umebayashi.

I love this with all my heart. They would knock it out of the park.

David Usher used a sample of The Flower Duet in Black Black Heart, it makes you drool, too: http://youtu.be/eW_zqMdpCn0.

I also remembered this song, I think it came out the same year Black Black Heart did. MTV was still a thing :D http://youtu.be/9dGC-b5kvXM.

Those are lovely pieces! It's funny you should mention the Shibutanis cuz I've been imagining them doing a whimsical program to forbidden friendship (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CJ96LGGP6w), from how to train your dragon lol.

It would be a dream. The man is the most inventive choreographer in figure skating right now.

Pani, Aliona & Robin performed 3Sal and 3Flip throws, as they usually do in the LP, not 2A...

Sorry!
