Here is new information about “Bolshoi on Ice”.

It’s summer holidays in July and August in Korea, so show time is different.
Weekday 16:00, 20:00
Saturday, Sunday 14:00, 18:00

It looks like the official website of Bolshoi on Ice are mixed the past show information.
Here is the skaters list in the Korean website of the ticket company this year.

Igor Bobrin
Natalia Bestemiyanova & Andrei Bukin
Yuko Kawaguchi & Alexander Smirnov
Dmitri Dmitrenko
Denis Ten

Alexei Yagudin
Ksenia Makarova
Artur Dmitoriev
Tatiana Totmiyanina & Maxim Marinin
Maria Petrova & Alexei Tikhonov
Iliya Klimkin
Elena Sokorova

I don’t understand in Korean, so hopefully Korean fans will update the information, when there is something new;)

I checked the yes24 ticket website. Here is additional informaion you may need.

First, you should be aware that Yeosu is not Seoul, the capital city of Korea. This seaside expo city is located at the south-east corner of the country. From Seoul to Yeosu, it takes 5-6 hours either by bus or train. From Busan, it takes about 3 hours.

I expect Yeosu will be crowdy during the expo.

There is no show planned on Mondays, even on 5/28.

As Nonko pointed out, the showtime information is rather confusing. The info from the official site does not match that of the ticketing site. According to yes24,

During the weekdays (Tuesday-Friday except official Korean holidays)
11 am only if there is a special group request
8 pm

During the weekends (Saturday, Sunday, official Korean holidays)
2 pm
6 pm

Official Korean holidays: (5/28), 6/6, 8/15

Running time including intermission: 160 minutes

Show White, Marry Poppins, & Nutcracker will be performed as the 1st act of the day shows. Carmen, Swan Lake, & Spartaucs for the evening shows.

I do not see the names of "Maria Petrova & Alexei Tikhonov" on the yes24 site. Since the tour consists of 3 seasons, frequent cast changes will be inevitable.

Ticket Price:
R 66,000 Korean Won (~ 60 USD)
S 55,000 Korean Won (~ 50 USD)
A 44,000 Korean Won (~ 40 USD)

Only babies upto 24 month old will be admitted free.

It seems that there are various ways to get discount tickets.

seabm7, thanks billions for the information:)

It takes 3 hours and 40 minutes from Seoul to Yeosu by KTX. It made the new line and the special station for the EXPO last November.

Or there are flights to Yeosu from the Gimpo airport in Seoul.

I hope the Yeosu EXPO and Bolshoi on Ice will be success, too:)

WOW, these shows have a great cast! Good to see that Ilia Klimkin and Elena Sokolova still perform. And I'm really happy to see that Ksenia Makarova is on the cast. :cheer:

I wish I could go to Korea and watch it. However, I too hope some FSUers who have the opportunity to see it live will post a review afterwards. :)

Can I just ask what does this have to do with Bolshoi (ballet)? Why is it Bolshoi on Ice??

The Bobrin company started to visit Korea several years back. I heard they used the name "Bolshoi" since Koreans were familiar with the ballet company.

It is said Alexei will participate in these shows.
Many his Japanese fans will absolutely go see there:)

The shows have changed the city and the schedule AGAIN!
All the shows will come back to Yeosu.

Alexei is in Korea now:rollin:

The shows will happen every PM 2 from Wednesday thru Sunday. No shows on Monday or Tuesday.

The rosters are Igor Bobrin, Alexei Yagudin, Dmitri Dmitrenko and so on.

Many cities in Japan have direct flights to Seoul, so it’s not so difficulty to get flight tickets.
And Korean express is useful between Seoul and Yeosu.

Japanese fans, who cannot wait to see Alexei until Medal Winners Open in October, will go see him in Yeosu, Korea;)
