Trailers for the twelve poll options are below. There is no trailer yet for "Dark Shadows" so out of spite, I have left it out of the poll and in it's place was the most delightful trailer I have seen in a long time (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel). Runner-up for Dark Shadows spot was "Chimpanzee" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cb8AeSh1rGs) a Disney documentary that animal-lovers will love (as will anyone who has a heart that is still beating, I expect!!)

One additional note: "The Cabin In The Woods" trailer looks like a horror movie re-tread of a re-tread, but the trailer changes gears halfway through until I was thinking, "what the heck is this movie about???" (in a good way!) So I think it warrants it's place in this thread's poll. :)

The only movie on the list that interests me is The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel; I've seen the trailer before and I marked the movie down as one to see. Everything else you have listed - no interest whatsoever.

I didn't vote for that one- but now that I have seen the trailer (should have looked first!) that's the one I most want to see!

I was going to have "Bully" in the poll as it looks to be a very important movie, but my brain got jumbled and I forgot to include it. I probably would have put it in the poll in place of the Titanic re-release.

I thought the trailer for 21 Jump Street was really good, but I've heard people talk negatively about this trailer, so I didn't include it in the poll. But I want to see this movie, it could be a lot of fun. Looking forward to seeing how Depp will be a part of the movie.

Another comedy that has lots of potential is Casa de mi Padre. This one might be brilliant, the trailer definitely does not give away too much.

Worst trailers for this month: Project X and Rachel Weisz' The Deep Blue Sea. And I had to use much restraint in not using quotation marks around the word comedy in reference to Eddie Murphy's new movie.

Ick @ 21 Jumpstreet. I was a HUGE fan of the tv show and do not this trend of remaking old tv shows as comedies. At very least they should have actors who are believable as teenaged H.S. students. Johnny Depp was in that show.

I think EW said "John Carter" had to make 400 mil just to break even? I've never heard of a superhero called John Carter unlike say Batman, Superman etc...

You haven't watched the trailer, have you?

Johnny Depp was in that show.

Yes, and he is in this movie. I doubt he would have agreed to be in this movie if he didn't think it was good...

Saw Woman in Black, Safe House, and This Means War!

Woman in Black wasn't bad, and not terribly gory. But I thought it was most effective as a suspenseful movie, and it lost its suspense about 2/3 through by showing the woman in black too much, and not leaving much left to the imagination. I also like happy endings, and this didn't have that.

Safe House was rather graphic I think, but it was clear when those scenes were, so I just closed my eyes. I guessed some of the plot early on, but there were still enough twists to maintain interest throughout. Overall it was better than I expected. Reminiscent of Bourne in a way, but without the main protagonist being the trained expert. Washington played his character extremely well.

This Means War was better than I thought (though I had very low expectations going into it). My main problems was the graphic sexual language (mainly done by Witherspoon's bff in the movie). Just unnecessary and detracted from the movie. I saw some reviews saying Reese's character wasn't believable, but to me she did a good job with it. The subplot didn't add much, but it wasn't exactly a distraction either. Enjoyable fun overall.

Interesting that they're giving free passes to this. I swear the advertising being spent on this movie is more than the other eleven movies in this poll combined!

John Carter - that was Noah Wyle's character name on ER. (dating myself)

Can't wait for Dark Shadows - that show scared me as a kid. As an adult I saw some episodes that just cracked me up. Was bummed when the new series in the 90s did not last.
