Yay!! I'm so happy, but it's not over yet. If today made me a nervous wreck I can't even imagine how I'll be tomorrow. What time does the FD start? I was gonna say something else but I forgot oh well. I hope they go all out tomorrow.

Oh I know it's gonna be anxiety galore tomorrow again, but since their SD has been such a mine-field lately it's great they nailed it when it mattered most, and when I watch it again oh they nailed it big time! That said I have no illusions that it's suddenly in the bag.

Is it too much to hope that they win and still leave Z&S anyway? :saint:

:P

but mmh for me it's complicated.
actually i'm warming up to Zoueva...she prepared T&S very well for these Worlds. who knows if an other coach would have the same capability.
but i sense that this year the victory of one team will mean a coaching change for the other. for psychological reasons at least. T&S show amazingly strong personalities but in this particular season the stress for sharing coaches with the main rivals must be huge. besides, they would be "pushed to work harder" anyway, facing DW in competitions. i'm not sure they really need to see them every day to make their talent shine.
well, i dunno, this year was tough for TS fans, but we're not in their shoes, so who knows, maybe staying with Zoueva is the best for them, for a number of reasons.

I hope so, I hope so, I hope so.

Leaving everything else aside, I think V/M are capable of better choreography than Zouva is capable of giving them at this point. That's not an entirely popular opinion, I know, but I just think they deserve better.

I kinda agree, she's done some nice work though let's be honest but I'd certainly be open to some...assistance with the choreography. I'd like them to work with Shae-Lynn and I think V/M would enjoy that, but it's highly unlikely.

YAAAAAAAAY!!!! Now I am off to study the protocols, and then watch the vid. Yeah this is my first stop here, the super enthused (excluding the go away sour grapes!) VM Thread family!

I think if they're going to have better choreography, it's going to have to involve a coaching change. My first choice for them is still Zhulin, but K/C's teams work with Shae-Lynn, so if they went there, it would be a possibility.

Wow I would not have put the French team only 3-4 points behind T&S...

I think the judges are keeping it way too close, D&W should have been under 70 & the French should have been well under 69.

How they are only 3 points behind V&M has me mindboggled:rolleyes:

I've only watched V/M and D/W so far, and have to take a break to fix something for dinner, but between those two, I don't see how V/M aren't a country mile ahead of D/W. 1.33 points is too close.

Exactly, it's a joke, but probably the judges don't want to make it seem like V&M are that much better, I assume if they skate lights out in their FD T&S will be further ahead after tomorrow's FD.

I also think Scott saw the marks & was like WTF to himself, lol probably thinking the same as us.

I do believe they want it to look like a "competition" tomorrow & if they scored them more accurately it would not be cause T&S would be way ahead ....

Agreed. I don't get why V&M never get to enjoy a comfortable lead like Chan does and Kim and S&S did back in the day.
