You are right, Pani, I forgot to add that the music is different.

I really don't know what Averbukh would be capable of in terms of originality if he had to create choreographies according to competition rules, with twizzles and other required elements and where the partners aren't just acting for almost 1 minute of the program but also skating. I would have to see to be able to judge. But I can tell you I saw a lot of recycling in his projects and even a dance copied from Torvill/Dean's Hat Trick.

Elena Grinenko tweeted pictures with four Canton teams, including Tessa and Scott (https://twitter.com/#!/elenagrinenko/status/179704486510596097). :)

Thanks for that, they are both glowing.:D

I think he did good job with Makarova SP.

Zhulin was always Dean fan :)

Oh I do to, Pani.:) But as usual opinions are divided on message boards.

I know that Zhulin is a huge T/D fan.

Thanks for posting those 2011 photos Pani. I am so excited for Worlds I can hardly wait. Now I just have to make sure my schedule is clear enough to watch it all.

I did a guest post on a friend's blog today about my trip to the 2010 Olympics. It includes all my photos and videos - all the ones that got deleted when my old YouTube account was deleted :( Team Canton preparing for the FD, the medal ceremony, and Team Canton post-medal ceremony fun :) Here's the link: Olympics post (http://briclarkthebelleofboise.blogspot.com/2012/03/did-that-really-happen.html#.T2ccG8WPXX8). Please share!

But don't you think that Averbukh is repeating himself a little bit too much? One couple is dancing on the floor and the other one is dancing on the ice but other than that...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tnl-1K_tjtw&feature=relatedThe idea of this newest program was very different from that dance. That was just and erotic dance of two lovers, but here the idea is that he sees the world in all its colours, but she sees everything in grey tones. Not only that - at first she tries to paint her gray over his colours, spoiling his life as well, but during the program he manages to change her view of life instead.

And, no wonder about recycling. Imagine that Averbukh and his choreographer had to make 50 numbers in a few months time just for this project alone. And several hundreds of numbers/programs for all his projects since 2006. I am not sure that there is anyone in the world who could do such an amount of show numbers in 6 years without repeating themselves or taking some ideas from others.

This thread is too far down in the page!

Anyone know when T&S leave for Nice. Hopefully T will be able to get some shopping done while she is there. If not real shopping at least window shopping or maybe she will stop off in Paris on the way back!

Ice dancers will compete first, so Tessa will have a lot off time for shopping if they will skate in exibitions ;)
And i dont know, when T-S leave to Nice. I think in Friday or Saturday

Try living in England & having to rely on Eurosport.
They are showing live snooker & tennis. So if they over-run the skating gets cancelled.
Love Eurosport..........................Not:mad:

Oh I am quite aware of that and it was none of my intention to bash Averbukh and his projects or programs. I wasn't even criticizing but just pointing out a few things.:)

Thanks. Should we be hoping for a new gala program from Tessa and Scott?

I really loved their Pink Floyd free dance from a few years ago and watched it on you tube recently. I even loved the simple black costumes from Worlds. I could really enjoy an exhibition spin off from that.
