Got me. And here I was giving her credit for a bit of humor. :P

I bet she laughs at Jennifer Aniston :P.

I completely forgot the Oscars were on last night. But I was moving in my new home. And I wasn't feeling well.

Elton John should stop giving people reasons why gay people shouldn't be allowed to have children.

That child looks like a stroppy brat already. :scream:

 I know it is just a baby and it is probably just a really bad snapshot but he looks like a complete douche of a child. It almost looks cartoonish, like the baby from Roger Rabbit.

Okay, I'm going to be the lone voice of dissent: I don't get this fascination with "Bridesmaids". What I saw last night during the ceremony, whenever they were on the screen, was IMHO... NOT funny. It wouldn't even have been funny had it been a bunch of men. Plus, I deplore anything and everything that has come out of Saturday Night Live in the past few years. I boycott anything and everything SNL and SNL-adjacent. I also don't like anything Judd Apatow and Judd Apatow-adjacent (that includes Seth Rogen and Jonah Hill and Jason Segal and Paul Rudd their respective projects). It's not funny. It's just lame. When Maya Rudolph was on the Oscar stage, I wanted Debra Wilson from MadTV to storm the stage and show her who's boss.

I did not like that movie at all, and I did not find it funny (or at least did not like the kind of humor it had). I did not mind the actresses being on the stage and handing out trophies though.

it's like any other pbp thread. someone will be proclaimed too thin to go on, although they generally look ok to me. and you cant say anyone looks unfit or there is :angryfire

Normally I'd agree, but then I see this picture of Rachel Zoe (http://movies.yahoo.com/photos/2012-oscar-parties-1330323237-slideshow/#crsl=%252Fphotos%252F2012-oscar-parties-slideshow%252Fvanity-fair-oscar-party-2012-photo-1330363881.html%253B_ylt%253DAhujJqSxPMpRMx3TDy6I3 5ITv.t_%253B_ylu%253DX3oDMTNyaDk3cTR1BHBrZwNhNDZmY mU3NS04MzI1LTNkMGYtOTU1ZS0yY2M1M2Q1NWVhNDEEcG9zAzc wBHNlYwNNZWRpYUNhcm91c2VsUGhvdG9HYWxsZXJ5Q0FYSFIEd mVyAzViODE2YjAxLTYxN2QtMTFlMS1iZWQ3LTE3MjVmOGI3ODk 2Yw--%253B_ylv%253D3) and :yikes:

She looks like Skeletor. :scream:

I haven't seen Bridesmaids (though I want to), but I thought they were funny last night, especially with the call back to the Scorcese drinking game from the SAGs (which he seemed to find pretty hilarious as well). Along with Emma Stone, they were probably my favourite presenters.

I think the winners of adapted screenplay mimicking Angelina may have been the funniest thing on the show. Certainly better than the awful scripted jokes. :P

May be. Or may be he was just constipated.

I have a friend who's been a seat filler for years at the Oscars. She told me today that last night Angelina didn't look good because she was way, way, way too thin--scary thin. She also said that in real life Glenn Close looks really beautiful.

I'm right there with you. Thought the movie was awful and not funny in the least.

Her equivalent in terms of the other side of the spectrum isn't someone like Octavia Spenser, it's more like someone who is 400-500 pounds.

oh good lord but that is ridiculous

i think she looks fine. she may not look nice to other people and that is ok. but to compare her to someone that needs the fire department to come and get them out of the house is

J-Lo's other Oscar dress (http://movies.yahoo.com/photos/2012-oscar-parties-1330323237-slideshow/)

Too much plunge for my taste, but the color is gorgeous on her.

I like the color and the "plunge" but I don't like the way it looks around the tummy area. I also don't like her orange tinge.

Also, the legendary green dress was great IMO.

I love J-Lo's looks on the red carpet. If I had J-Lo's body, I'd wear everything plung-y and supertight as well.
