What about Josephine Tey's "Daughter of Time"?

I loved that book. I've given it to many people. "Truth is the daughter of time, not of authority". So true.

I read so much that sometimes I have read all the top picks in the library, need more but don't feel that I can justify ordering online items (although I do that periodically). I delve into a local bookstore's very comprehensive listing/reviews of books recently published. Always find some new to me so I can head off to the library.

I'd like to post the newsletter info. but hesitate as I'm not sure if it would be seen as promoting that store's business. I have no interest in that but would merely like to give others some ideas on new authors, the way that I use it. Moderator, would this be appropriate?

A great way to get new names when you run out. I also have 3 reading circles, kind of likle mystery chain mail where you pass it on. I guess I'm just a mystery troll, always saying "Feed Me!"
