There is a difference between lies and opinions. JJ is just expressing an opinion. You need to lighten up.
As there's a difference berween expressing something like : "I don't think Patrick Chan deserves all his wins"
and asserting something like : "Judges give him the Gold no matter what because they love him". ;)

Yup, there IS a difference between spreading lies or false accusations and stating one's own opinions. You need to know the difference.

I agree with skatesindreams that Toller Cranston should have been a choice.

When he doesn't fall, I mean. But still his performance looks like a multiple choice exam sheet, with no emotion, no interpretation, no surprise, no originality, no creativity. It's all about collecting points.

Of course, the problem is that even when he falls, not all judges give him -3 (GPF SP), and even tech panel ignores it (4CC SP).

Which skater's not skating to collect points? Having more subtle emotion and interpretation doesn't mean "no". I'd rather see that than the typical "over the top pulling your heart out" performance like most skaters tend to do. They think that more dramatic means emotions. And Chan's SP and LP show very different style. Just because his style is not your taste dosn't mean he has no originality nor creativity. His skating skill in fact has allowed him to create difficult moves and edges that can't be said about other skaters.

When he falls, not all judges gave him -3. Did all other skaters get all -3?? As for the 4CC SP fall, that's still debatable. He did get -3GOE if I remember correctly. But of course, Chan's mark will always get scrutinzied regardless

At this season's 4CC ? He got -3 by every judge for his 4Toe.

Two judges gave only -1. A figure skater hitting a wall that hard is like a dancer falling off the stage.

Well, I can only hope those judges will read your post and finally realize there are people around who know figure skating and the rules better than they do.;)

I don't think that would happen as they have been happily following the instructions given by Lori Nichol.

Hmm, if that's all your evidence, I'm afraid you would lose your case in court. :P

Chan's biggest legacy will be enabling the judges to give their favorites victories in every competition even with many mistakes and falls. They may not have felt they could get away with it before, but Chan has shown them they can get away with if they are consistent enough with it and get people to realize they are allpowering and can literally do anything they choose now with the vague scoring system.
