....Come on, Gracie can't be in this poll. She'll be the only option in a poll for "Most Awesomest Awesome Skater Who Cannot Be Compared Ever In Life to Anyone Because She's So Freakin' Awesome!"

So the poll choices would be "Gracie Gold" and "purple" then?

Yes, but after a couple of posts people would still start answering 'Michelle'. ;)

Maybe rename it "How much do you like Michelle Kwan?"

^^Another completely pointless poll...still, it's fun to see how badly Kwan crushes the competition!

Then why go into the thread?

Whilst it was obvious Michelle would win, its very interesting to see where everyone else finishes. Lovely to see Janet Lynn in second!

She would've won this one I think even without the Kwan fans on the board. She really is the best, and 20 years from now she will still be the best because in NA she's left the biggest impact over the longest period of time. So many skaters over the past 12 years from NA have also had her influence in some way or looked at her as their idol, she's the current Olympic Champion's favorite skater and idol.

Then why go into the thread?to share the taste of sour grapes with all?:P

But then again, these polls are always annoyingly skewered by the "I wasn't even born yet in 1998! " votes.

And yet Michelle wasn't really even the most dominate US skater. Carol Heiss won 5 straight World championships and Olympic Gold and who knows what her record would have been if she hadn't retired at 20. Not saying Heiss was better just saying over a 5 year period no one was more dominate in the last 60 years in the US.

^ probably the same. If she didn't retire at 20, she'd have probably won 61 nats and gotten on a plane to Brussels.. :scream:
