That's performer # 2 that I wish had been dropped tonight.

Rumour is Jay-Z (and maybe Kanye) didn't go because of the Chris Brown business. If that's true, I love them even more. And I'm glad to hear Kanye won best rap album. I haven't taken that off regular rotation since I bought it on iTunes.

Amazing how that works. I doubt Kanye will ever be forgiven for being a general ass and interrupting Taylor Swift's speech(his ego doesn't help), but Chris Brown is welcoming back into the fray. Meh. :shuffle:

Agree with you about Kanye's album. Seriously underrated.

I actually thought the concept of Minaj's performance was kind of cool. Unfortunately, the impact was diminished by the fact that the song was lame. All that going on and yet even the live audience seemed totally underwhelmed...

Adele is owning this night, as she should. One more win to make her 6/6!

I like Adele's make up, very 60s glam. Not loving the fashions on the red carpet though. :drama:

That OK Go video from the Chevy commercial is seriously cool btw. The song less so, but still.

Wtf? Allouette in an American ad?

So there is Song of the Year and Record of the Year? I don't understand the difference...

Must be so refreshing to be ADELE or Jennifer Hudson and know that all you have to do is stand there and SING to bring the house down. They don't need to rely on any over the top premise to totally ROCK!!!

I think one goes to the songwriter and one goes to the performer.

Neither did I, until I googled it. ;)

Song of the Year honors the songwriter(s).

Record of the Year honors the vocalist(s).

Song goes to songwriter, Record to the performer. :)

SO happy Bon Iver won New Artist! :respec:
