Anyone watching the funeral on CNN?
I am too.. and absolutely loving it.. the passion I think is lovely - I'm certainly not a church or religious person (yet spiritual).. and I really appreciate how these guys are able to express their emotions - I find it refreshing - I know a sort of weird word - but the display of emotion I have never associated with church.. If I was ever to go to church (not likely :shuffle:) I would like to go to a baptist church full of black/african american congregation..
I am enjoying the personal stories - it feels very personal and authentic..

I think I prefer funerals to weddings. :shuffle:
Kevin Costner up now. I'll bet he's glad of the work. :P

I am. Taking a break from my retreat. Cried some too - gospel music does that to me. The choir rocked.

A priest in my church said something like, 'there's 10x more spirituality in a funeral than in a wedding'.

I think she was taking off the lapel mike. It seemed to be causing an echo.
Really like Kevin's tribute. Very nice.
The choir rocked.
I just love it when each Choir member does their own thing. That doesn't happen in a white church.
She is too skinny, and not statuesque enough. :shuffle:
Whitney was thin also.

Clive's turn.
I want to believe that he truly cared for her and tried to help Whitney to get on the right path, but the cynic in me thinks he cared more about how much money she could make him as opposed to caring about Whitney the person :(

He footed most of her bills but not the funeral. Hmmmm
