Ashley doesn't have the pompous rage necessary to sing Alanis. You have to stalk a lot of guys who just aren't that interested and be overly sensitive for a really long time to work up to that level of overwrought angst.

I hate Paramour. I hate this song. I hate this arrangement, and this girl is a first class beyotch.

But I can't help it--I love Charlotte Sometimes, stupid, Cure-stealing name and all.

I can't believe Xtina said something about one of Blake's singers. :lol:

Xtina encouraging him to oversing because that's how she rolls.

Cheesy arrangement drained the soul from it. The wistful quality is what makes that song special IMO. I didn't get that from this performance.

What. A. Wonderful. World. That phrase shouldn't be sung with full stops between words. And some of those notes were ..... Not good.

a lot of these song choices are questionable at best, just not showing most of the singers in their best light, not counting raylene who i dont think has any good lights

totally agree.. I don't have a major favourite yet.. can still be swayed and part of the issue I think is not seeing the best out of them yet?

My favorites by far and away were Lindsay Pavao and Erin Willett. I have a really hard time remembering any of the male performances.

Jesse was good. Then came the end.
