Team Xtina is showing its prowess, and she's still got Lindsay Pavao waiting in the wings. :cheer2:

Lindsey is my favorite. I'm amazed she took such a terrible song and turned it into a very cool one. Very curious to see how she does in the battle round.

I loved every note Jordis sang with her song. I also liked Jordis' back-up vocalist that she allowed to share the stage with her.

6. Anthony & Jesse....oh why did she pair them? I know they are the same demographic, and I guess Anthony surprised her. I thought Jesse would kill him. They both should have gone through. But Jesse was a little more slick/professional.

Which is precisely why I preferred Anthony. He's not "slick", he's more heartfelt.

I wish Xtina had paired Jesse with Geoff or Anthony with Geoff. But definitely NOT each other!

I didn't prefer Anthony but he for sure deserved to stay longer.

I'm baffled as to how RaeLynn made it through. She's sweet and her blind audition wasn't bad, but her performance of Free Fallin' was terrible. I think Blake is one of the better mentors, but that was a misjudgment. Adley was robbed.

It's also a shame that Anthony is out so early. I preferred him to everyone else who performed in the battle rounds, including Jesse.

On The Voice, there's a Jesse for every Raelynn. AI is just a whole bunch of Raelynns.

In any case, I must confess that I'm pretty disappointed in this show compared to it's premiere season.

I think that there were a number of people saying that. I was one of them. I still very much believe that The Voice is the better show, even though I think that Blake should not have chosen RaeLynn.

Having not watched season 1, I'm thoroughly enjoying this season.

Last season was quite good, but I think this season might be better. But maybe I think that only because there are way more singers than last year??

It's a shame he was cut.
However, I think Anthony will have many offers/opportunities as a result of this,

Glad you enjoyed the vids; if I wasn't already a fan I'd sure be one after watching his Adele cover!

ITA that something good will come his way -- the other day, P Diddy tweeted that Anthony and Jesse "sang their a$$es off" and that he wants to offer them a record deal for them as a "GROUP". I thought it was cool to see that since Combs has 6 million followers. I just will miss seeing Anthony weekly on my TV and watching him grow & cover modern songs (and getting to buy them on itunes).

For those that like Kelly Clarkson on The Voice, she is going to be on a new show this summer called Duets. It will pair celebrity singers with contestants, each week they will sing duets until there is a winner who will be signed to a record label. I know Kelly will be on as well as Lionel Ritchie and Robin Thicke. The way I understood it, the celebrity vocalists will be on each and every week so that means a few weeks of enjoying beautiful Kelly Clarkson harmonies. :)
