Xtina sucks at trying to pretend that it was a "hard" decision for her. She had such a damn with faint praise--"Monique, I didn't know you could hit actual notes. Good for you, sweetheart."

I can't take this song seriously. When I was in Hong Kong, a couple of drunk Japanese business men were doing a REALLY bad karaoke version of it.

It still makes me giggle. :)

I'd say Chessa was toast, but....

I can see why Xtina picked the song. The :saint: reason: the emotional quality for Monique and the glory notes for him. The :EVILLE: (and real) reason: to utterly crush Monique.

I don't get why Chessa wanted to go up a half a step in the first place if she can't hit the high notes, knowing Angie can. When Angie said, let's go up another half step, I didn't literally :lol: but I definitely smirked.

For such a cheeseball song, I thought the girls did it kind of awesomely as a duet.
