I thought at first that Jermaine came off arrogant and I liked that Blake went toe-to-toe with him ("'keep' is up to YOU"), but when Jermaine chose Blake it showed me he isn't *that* conceited -- he could've been a sore-head about it and wasn't. Interesting choice and I lol'd at Cee-Lo shaking his head in disbelief!

As a guess, this guy is already an exceptional R&B singer. I'd imagine Alicia Keys would be a better mentor than Cee-Lo. The fact that he did Complicated, and a rough-and-ready rock and roll version of it at that, says to me that he's looking to branch out vocally. What would Cee-Lo give him that he hasn't already got? Blake could help him with that.

Alicia Keys guy annoys me too - his singing was a bit overwrought. I think he has a nice voice but I'd like it better with a slightly quieter tone.

Funny tweet from Alex Shibutani:

I wonder when the "Smash" series premiere is... They haven't done very much advertising. #sarcasm

Good point. But with his uniqueness, I would have liked for him to go with someone who has a distinct point of view and can help him with that. And Cee-Lo is more than just an R & B singer. But I see what you're saying.

Their tweets crack me up.

Not looking good for the exRockstar once again. Especially, not even making the reject audition.
