I think I'll skip the red carpet, but I'll check out the awards ceremony.

Nominees are here:

I'll skip it all but will look at the results. About how I view ice dance. :)

The awards ceremony has started. Not loving Michelle's dress. It would look a lot better without the lace.

Jonah Hill is the only one I've seen in the first category, but he can't possibly be the best.

Actor in a Supporting Role - Christopher Plummer (Oscar favorite)

I keep thinking of Michelle in Dawsons Creek. :) She's changed so much.

Actress in a Supporting Role - Octavia Spencer, another favorite for Oscar

Not surprised that Octavia Spencer won. She was really good in The Help. I think the help might win for best ensemble, too.

Jim Parsons didn't get nominated? He wuz robbed.

Male Actor, Comedy Series -Alec Baldwin - he looks good, like he lost a few pounds and maybe younger
Female Actor, Comedy Series - Betty White - looks like a standing O

01-30-2012, 01:33 AM
Yeah. Alec Baldwin does look like he lost weight.

Yay for Betty White! She's awesome.

01-30-2012, 01:34 AM
Betty White is my favorite person ever.

Outstanding Cast, Comedy Series - Modern Family

I don't know why I don't watch it, it looks hilarious.

Web sites lighting up about Alec Baldwin dropping a few pounds. I rewound by TiVo, there's no way he's drinking, at least not much. ;)

Outstanding Female Actor, TV, Miniseries, etc. - Kate Winset, Mildred Pierce - she's not there

Outstanding Male Actor, TV, Miniseries, etc. - Paul Giamtti - he's not there

Johan Hill (http://wonderwall.msn.com/movies/2012-sag-awards-17756.gallery?#!wallState=0__%2Fmovies%2F2012-sag-awards-17756.gallery%3FphotoId%3D76524) - Looks like he gained some weight back.

Jessica Lang (http://wonderwall.msn.com/movies/2012-sag-awards-17756.gallery?#!wallState=0__%2Fmovies%2F2012-sag-awards-17756.gallery%3FphotoId%3D76521) - No. Lay off the botox.

Female Actor in a Drama Series - Jessica Lange, American Horror Story

01-30-2012, 02:26 AM
Kind of fun to see both Julianna Marguilies and George Clooney nominated. ER was really the big break for both of them.

Did Mayim Bialik chop her hair off or is it just the way it is styled and the angle of the photo?
