I thought D&W were off, and V&M should have beat them in both TES and PCS, but what do I know.

the judges are giving out more realistic marks now :-D Tessa and Scott don't have to worry too much for tomorrow, I think. if they get the levels they can surpass DW, it shoud be doable! proud of their toughness, they're real real champions ^

Loved it, loved it, loved it!!!!! Yes, couple of little errors, but just gorgelicious. God they have such a magical connection between the two of them when they're out there....guess we'll have to wait for protocals for more details, but I think they're on their way. They knew what they did and didn't do and looked not unhappy with their score.

they beated them in PCS, but Scott made mistakes in the circular steps so their TES are lower, but let's wait for the pdf

I also thought I saw some unison issues with Meryl and Charlie, especially on the twizzles, which is why i was surprised that Tessa/Scott were 2nd. But, I didn't catch Scott's bobbles, so I guess a virtual tie is pretty good.

OMG! I think they look better, then all other teams- i mean costumes, style.
People love Shibs :D
It was great to see backstage. All look really bervouse. Maia is funny :)
As for score- maybe pattern again?

I am loving the no commentary, no commercials, and constant camerawork of the Radio Canada feed.

It's not the feed.
They were out of unison in both the twizzles and one part of the step sequence.
They also seemed so out of breath at the end.
I wonder whether the altitude is affecting all the skaters. Everyone seems to be losing steam at the end.

Thanks I thought so but I wasn't sure. I'll have to watch again but if that's the case I'm a bit surprised they're leading but I have to watch again when I'm calmer.

Thank goodness Worlds aren't in Colorado, but it would be interesting I guess. Poor Meryl especially was gasping but everyone was pretty winded.

I'm pleased that the scoring was more realistic and stingy. I was surprised that it went that way. I did think that Tessa and Scott had down enough to edge out D/W as I think the couple of mistakes in the twizzles and end of the step sequence would count more against them than Scott's little dip. Guess we'll find out more when the levels are posted.

Got to say I was disappointed in the crowd. They could have made a bit more noise for the skaters.

Guys, now V-M must be perfect for win. But i am happy the difference wasnt like at GPF 5 points. With this difference in score T-S could fight with D-W next time.
I didnt saw public reaction - only Meryl and Charlie had standing ovations?
I think "live" its really difficult to see this mistakes in D-W twizzles, because they did this all the time - but there speed is amazing.

What I found strange is that D/W had multiple stoppages in their skating where they are perhaps "setting the mood" and I also saw snow flying from Charlie's skates 2 or 3 times. Definitely some unision problems in the twizzles yet they still get higher TES?

I didn't see the mistake that some of you are saying Scott made. Off to look at the protocols. I'm still thinking that there is some leniency in marking that is pro-U.S.
