Wouldn't that be an interesting twist to film two seasons at once and have a bit of crossover, like having reward challenges with all 4 teams competing or having the reward be that you could swap one of your teammates for someone on one of the tribes in the other season.

ugh, no...too much like the Real World/Road Rules challenges

It'd be an interesting twist for the players, but waaaaay too confusing for the viewers who would be watching the seasons at different times, so this would never happen. Plus poor Jeff and the production crew would be too wiped out running two cycles at once

A little OT, but I made the mistake of tuning into Russell Hantz show on A&E, "Flipped Off". http://www.aetv.com/flipped-off/

It may be hard to believe, but Russell is even worse on this show. A complete brute and bully. And poor Brandon Hantz's dad Sean is on the show, and he's even a bigger tool than we thought.

And even though Russell got himself back on TV, and no matter what he's said publicly, at some point he'll be back on Survivor...bank on it.

I am almost positive that any return of Russell will result in him being booted at the first possible chance, he's earned too bad of a reputation for people to go even mid-way through the game with him. Which is totally fine by me. I don't need to ever see him on my TV again, let alone on Survivor.

I don't know. Remember that of his three seasons, he won the fan favourite $100K twice. I think there are some who would like to play with him for the celebrity factor, because he does have some good gameplay in him, and because he'd make a great shield.

I almost think his bigger danger would be on a team of other former players, who would probably get rid of him the fastest because the factors above would be less important to them.

but it was his tribe of newbies that threw a challenge to get rid of him ASAP.

I think returning players would be more likely to feel like they could work around his game play - although it's unlikely he'd last long unless he was on a dominant tribe that didn't see TC very much.

I think if several more seasons pass (MANY), Russell could come back and get a different reception. But in the next year or two? No, he's too fresh in peoples' minds (because Burnett & Co won't let us forget him :P)

I watched an episode out of curiosity. OMG, it was horrible and yes Russell was even worse. I have watched various 'flip this house' shows with all the contrived deadlines/breakdowns/budget breakers/forced drama that I just don't watch any more. I love my real estate porn (got that phrase from TWOP - Selling New York), but the fake drama is stupid. But Russell, his brother, and their realtor bring it down to a lower level.
From Survivor, I had the impression that Russell was successful. in this show, he is one of the dumb people that thinks he can flip a house on the cheap and does stupid stuff (putting vinyl siding on a 100 year old house in a historic district)
I never like Russell, but found him to be an interesting, entertaining capable survivor player, but now, an idiot.
Back to discussing Survivor. When does it start again? I guess BB will have to suffice.

Big Brother in July. Survivor in September.
