Ouch. Not a great first set so far for Nole. He's been broken twice and has yet to hold serve. Nole could probably use a rain delay to regroup and figure out if there's anything he can change to give him more of a shot at being competitive in this match.

Novak appears to have woken up at last.

When the clay is damp, does that benefit Rafa or Nole?

Wow! And now we're back on serve at 3-3 after Nole initially being down two breaks at 3-0.

Great match so far. Those rallies are out of this world.

I hope the rain delay doesn't change the momentum.
I'd love to see this go the distance.

:cheer2: Hooray for doubles! And double Hooray for Daniel Nestor, he is so ridiculously underappreciated in Canada. Yet, he's represented us so brilliantly in Davis Cup, Olympic Play and now all these grand slam titles, granted doubles isn't nearly as sexy as singles but he represents us beautifully without the pomp and acknowledgment. Congrats on ANOTHER grand slam title, and off to Wimbledon and the Olympics!

So it's held over until tomorrow with Novak a break up in the 4th. The question is who sleeps better and comes back tomorrow more focused? It's a tough call IMHO. I would love Novak to take it to 5 and have that one set decide it - can't wait :)

I switched to HBO and am watching the documentary on McEnroe and Bjorg. It is quite the story. Can you imagine what kind of attention someone like McEnroe would receive in this day and age with everything popping up online and on television immediately? He would make the Kardashians look like a joke.

Loved to watch tennis when they were in their prime. Some great matches, and they were such opposites when it came to their court manners. Everything today seems dull in comparison. I always pulled for Borg, but I do like McEnroe and think he's a good commentator.

Novak. Rafa's shot don't bounce up as much and the topspin on her shots are lessened to a certain degree.

I watched the a little of match this morning but I missed Djokovic takes out his frustration on the bench. Did this happen during the 2nd set.

Hopefully Rafa can come back strong, get off to a early start and close out this set.

MATCH JUST COMPLETED, THE WINNER...

STILL AND REIGNING KING OF CLAY, RAFAEL NADAL. 7 FRENCH OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS, THE MOST BY ANY PLAYER.

6-4, 6-3, 2-6, 7-5.

I'm so proud of my guy Rafa. Djokovic held for 3-1 lead, Rafa held and broke Djokovic for 3-3. Then both players held serve until Rafa broke to win 7-5.
