What's Spanish for getting crushed? 6-2, 6-0, 6-0...

The men are going through much more smoothly (and predictably) than the ladies. Naturally Nadal HAMMERED Monaco, and Gasquet, is, of course, losing the plot against Murray.

Meanwhile, Granollers played like a part-time player against Ferrer.

The latter stages of the mens is full of top players. The womens... well... ;) I'm loving how unpredictable it is though it's hard to see Sharapova losing.

Li played as though she was the most nervous person in the world whilst Shvedova is finally living up to her potential. As I said, I've seen her live and that woman has some SKILLZ.

Richard Gasquet: Pretty BH, pretty game, pretty face, pretty arse, absolutely-useless-in- any-kind-of-big-match.

In all fairness, Murray was superb - could be a great QF against Ferrer.

"Una pela" is what I'd use. (Which literally means a spanking)

Gasquet, sigh. I'd dared to hope after the first set, and even in the second he'd broke back to even. But it was downhill from there.

Nadal is destroying J.Monaco

He is in AWESOME form this year - it would be tough to bet against him taking his 7th title come Sunday

The weight of expectation lay heavy on Gasquets shoulders from an early age - no-one could live up to the pressure that the French press and the French tennis association put on Gasquet. He has shown some flashes of brilliance but they are too few and far between.

Ferrer has been playing very well - he could take Murray - and I'll be honest and say I won't be too upset if he did. Of course then the winner has to face Nadal (if he wins his quarter final match ;) ) and Nadal has to be the favourite against either of those!!

^Nadal would still be the favourite if he faced both Ferrer AND Murray at the same time.

In the commentary today they were saying that Gasquet had hype from the age of 9. How the hell is that even possible?!

Watched some of Nadal destroying Monaco. It was as though Nadal was hitting the ball so hard and with so much spin that Monaco could barely hit it back a lot of the time. Insane.

Gasquet has a fantastic game but he's mentally not tough. He's a dangerous player but the suspension on 09, hurt his confidence and he hasn't been the same. He's really good on a all surfaces.

Gasquet has a flair to his game that is beautiful to watch. I've seen him play live twice and he's wonderful to see.

That being said I loved Murray's fight yesterday. The French Crowd was booing him from the moment he walked on the court. Murray said "it felt like a football match and he enjoyed himself on the court". He relished the moment.

Del Potro just took the first two sets against Federer. Oh boy.

I haven't seen Del Porto play in a while. I forgot how overpowering he can be and his forehand really is one of the tops in tennis today, maybe ever. PERIOD. He is killing Roger with his forehand.

Looks like Del Portro vs. Federer is going 5 sets! I wish these 2 matches were not going on at the same time!

Allez Roger!
