So glad Rafa won.
Hope he kicks ass this season.

Did anyone see it? Interesting scoreline!

I saw it, The Tennis Channel had excellent coverage all week long. Djoker made lots of uncharacteristic errors, especially after the first set slipped away. His heart didn't seem fully into it. Rafa was strong and fit, pretty much vintage Rafa I would say. The second set was not entertaining to watch.

Just watched Kerber destroy Wozniacki 1 & 2 - VERY impressive display

Petkovic has the worst luck :( She rolled her ankle badly against Azarenka.

Petko :( I really like her - her game (and grunt) really reminds me of Demetieva. I hope this injury isn't too serious.
I still haven't seen Barthel - I clearly need to; the clips I've seen look impressive, and she's having some great results. She plays Azarenka today, whom she so nearly beat at IW a few weeks back.

So does anyone think the Wiliams sisters will be on the Olympic team?

Milos took out Murray! :cheer2:

Serena will be at the Olympics, health permitting, in at least singles and mixed doubles ( there's a kinda cute love triangle with Isner and Roddick vying to be Serena's partner!) ... but Venus - even if she gets healthy - is going to have to scramble to meet the USA's criteria (or get an exemption from it).
I'm hoping that Vee will not try to petition in, so that another player can get onto the team ... Christina McHale, Vania King, Liesl Huber. I wonder what Huber's chances are? She's the co-#1 doubles player in the world with Lisa Raymond, but is that enough to get her (and Lisa) onto the team? I'm less sure of the ladies qualifications criteria.

Perkovic has torn ligaments in her ankle and is out for at least three months - she will almost certainly miss RG, Wimbledon and the Olympics :(
Gotta feel for her right now.

:( Andrea. Pretty much the worst possible timing for an injury and missed events.

Petko came back too fast and I had no idea why she did that. It probably was a fluke but I think she should have waited a bit (maybe even after the clay season) and get her strength back.

The WTA seems surprisingly normal lately, with players reaching their seeds, and #1s and #2s meeting in finals.
I've found the quality at the Stuttgart tournament to be pretty good.

Stuttgart has been really fun! Some high quality, competitive matches.
