I like Scott`s attitude he wants the world title tooth and nail this year, enough of this nicey nicey the majority of the ice dance specialists consider tessa and scott the best ice dance team in the world, but the judges have been rewarding gymnastics on ice to booming music enough was enough Scott had to speak since igor and Marina were obviously not gonna do anything and Skate canada to busy worshipping the sand that Chan walks under.

Scott is probably frustrated because of the personal attachment he and Tessa have to their free dance; I think they really love it, but since it seems not everybody shares that sentiment with them it probably hurts.

How do you think, everybody is shares opinion D-W FD is masterpiece? Or all have the same opinions about P-D programs, or all "fell in love" with W-P "Malade"? I dont think so - people always have different opinion.
I understand you dont like FF FD and talking about this every time, but i think the problem is people realy dont understand what Scott said at GPF.
In component score all is about music and style, wich you like or dont like? Maybe for fans, but not for judges, because its sport. Some components its lines and synchro, some about artistic impression and who think V-M are worst in this then D-W? Some components is about transitions moves - this is D-W strong point. One component is about choreo and music - so judges could show they like or dont like your FD. Its only 1 component, but in reality we have D-W had all marks higher, then V-M - this is a reall problem i think and this is why Scott was "piss off". And people, who watch FS a lot off years, understand - if you have lower component score from competition to competition, you will never be ahaed of another team. So Scott must be happy, when he saw this and feel he will lose all time D-W? But people thinki they know all about this sport better then judges and skater, who spend near 20 years on ice ;)

And V-M had 10th for choreo - so this mean a lot off people dont like there FD?

ISU didnt change FD score at GPF and Skate Canada didnt post nothing about this. Or yes - maybe they want to say "Sorry" for Scott and afraid this will not bring next time gold for Patrick with 3 falls? :D

I'm sorry but, to those of you who think that Scott's comments were unsportsmanlike, do you follow any other sports? In football, you see those guys celebrating right in front of their opponents, taunting them. I've always found that despicable. In baseball, you even see players CHEATING (hello?? A. J. Pierzynski??); in soccer, you hear one of the best coaches in the world say that his team (the second best team in the world, no less) lost to the best team in the world (perhaps one of the best in history) because they were lucky.

Becuase figure skating isnt a "mens World", where guys are more open, but after game all relaxed and understand they didnt want to kill there main competitors in reality and went out to drink something together :D Thats why its hard for Scott to be in this FS Workd, wich is all about "this is womens World" with all this unnatural smiles and words :)

I think the quote from Charlie is an excellent example of the usual good sportsmanship and class that he and Meryl are known for and that we have come to expect from them in every competitive situation...no WHINING!!!

Well, I, for one am looking forward to Canadian Nats, especially the ice dance. Even though Tessa and Scott skate first in the last flight, I don't think it will make much difference in placements, or at least I hope not........perhaps their marks will be slightly lower than if they skated last. We are so fortunate in Canada to have them representing their country, and also fortunate to have so many excellent teams for such a small country population wise. I can hardly wait to celebrate this when watching Nats. I will be recording everything on the DVR to watch again and again....:)

Unfortunately I wont be able to see National either live in Moncton or at home as I will be away. I shall have to watch on You Tube.

Of course its a treat to be away somewhere warm in the winter so I am not really complaining.
