Adelina will skate?

I don't wanna be rude or off topic, Adelina is competing at other events right now and it's been announced that ladies entry will go on with five skaters.

No, Adelina has already skated her short program over in Croatia. There will be no replacement for Mao.

Such upsetting news....
Please, please keep the Asada family safe.

I hope it's not cancer. :( :( :(

Unfortunately, all the information I'm hearing suggests it is. Mao's mother is still quite young as well (late 40s). :(

Oh no! Poor Mao. I hope her mother recovers soon. My thoughts are with her, her mom, Mai and the all family. :(

Mao is back in Tokyo Narita Airport, understandably declining to talk to the press.

Mr. Nobuo Sato did say "We were woken up in the morning by the phone call, and had only 30minutes to leave the hotel and go to the airport, not even enough time to brush your teeth!"
He continued "I told her to have a strong heart, and that we will discuss about the future at a later time."

It does not sound good, unfortunately...

My boyfriend and I had planned a really fun date tomorrow to bring Mao luck for the LP at the GPF (skating followed by japanese lunch + silly photo booth photos - silly but fun)

We will be having our date now in honour of Mao and her mother, and we will be praying for a speedy recovery of Mrs Asada and blesses for the Asada family

Much love to the Asada family xxxx

(((Mao))) :(

One of my best friends lost her mother to cancer year ago, and it has been one very painful year. My thoughts are with Asada family.
