loved the fan work

Agreed. The part of her program that I saw seemed very classy and nice.

I wanted to see Akiko. I guess she got chacked?

Why am I getting an ad for CougarLife.com?!?!

Ok, epic show, really one of the more enjoyable disson specials I've ever seen.

Sometimes the "omitted" programs will appear on the StarGames YouTube page, smileyskate.

Thank you. I didn't know about that page. Will check it out.

Akiko was in the show? She wasn't listed, nor was she at the press conference.

Akiko was not in the show.

crap I missed it :( Out of curiosity, what jumps did sasha, Elizabeth and Hubert do?!?

I'm also wondering who picked out the version of Both Sides that Sarah skated too--I've heard better ones of that.

That was Joni Mitchell, with her "mature" voice.

hmmmm--I didn't know "mature" meant :yikes:

just tuned in

Laetitia Hubert, "Black Shoes" by Felix something.
I really liked this program. I wonder who choreographed. Nice to see her.

I thought her outfit was bizarre, and I was surprised she wore it for the finale. It was like wearing a Haloween costume to a garden party.

Did Sasha skate twice in the live show? Her green dress?

I think they all wore the outfits that they wore for their skates--so it was natural she'd wear that one.

Everyone save Fleming, Button and Lipinski did one routine each, IIRC

It means too many cigarettes over the years.

Sarah skated to the "Both Sides Now" from the album of the same name that came out in the late 90's. It's not the version from the album "Clouds" that came out in the 70's.

We saw the live show, and were pleased with how it was presented on TV (with the exception of too many of the same, repetitive ads, as usual). I don't recall anyone getting "chacked" (last year 7 performances were "chacked," but thankfully all of those perforamcnes eventually were put up on the Stargames site). I don't remember if Tara did a full program (someone help me out here if you attended the live show). I enjoyed seeing the young skaters in the beginning, was glad that the NYC Ice Theatre got to do their program, and I loved the whole tribute to Peggy, complete with hilarious, but eloquent "Uncle" Dickie. I also enjoyed hearing the skaters' perspectives on Peggy (including the thoughts of skaters who were not in this show - Brian, Todd, Mike, Kristi).
