i really wish Marton would have some super serious epiphany and decide that he needs to step away from music for about 10 years... Then again, Plushy would probably use an old recording of his music... ugh... PLEASE NO MORE!!!

Says you. Back in the day the Russians were pretty unbeatable. In my opinion Dom/Shabs were one of the worst Russian dance teams in years, but were held up like they were these incredible skating genius'. I personally thought they were average at best. This is just my opinion though, like the above is just yours.

Were did I talk about DomSha ? Anyway :blah: See you next year !

Can someone please post the link? I googled for his official website, but there was no link to the translation on the homepage.

When DomShab first came on the scene, they had a lot of potential/talent. I remember seeing them at the 2006 worlds in Calgary and thinking they are the next OGM winners from Russia in ice dance. Unfortunately injuries to Shabalin stopped their progress and they became just average, but it was a high average (Russian standard).

Now if you compare them with the past great Russian ice dance teams like K&P, U&Z, G&P, K&O, they are nowhere close. I was really sorry to see them struggle. Without the injuries to Shabalin, I think they could have developed into a really good ice dance team.

Virtue & Moir were fabulous in Vancouver though. It wouldnt have been easy for anyone to beat them.

Agreed. I can rewatch their 06/07 Tango OD endlessly and just marvel at the precision. They were rightfully trashed for their Vancouver programs, but such is the power of the Linichuk that she actually made you forget they should've been an all time list team.

Thanks! Interesting that he said he would compete in Russia without the quad, but internationally only with a quad. I liked his comments about Chan too.

He knows he has zero chance against Chan if Chan skates clean that is why chan has so many haters when he falls people think hey others might have a chance know but the judges still don`t think so:D

For those who didn't see the US NBC broadcast of CoR today: Plushenko said he is 'finally' healthy, wants to go to Russian Nationals, and wants to stay until Sochi.
Also, he misses everyone -- his fans and enemies.

This was on universalsports.com, so it must be from the NBC interview.

Plushenko: "...Without quads, figure skating is only ballet."

Ye Gods!!! :scream:
