Anyone going to Nats?
Should we be making a poster for PC?
I have begun one for V&M.

Maybe these beautiful pictures from Worlds will inspire you for the poster or banner.:)

Thanks Varbar. Just noticed that Patrick has nice hands and slender fingers. :)

Tis boring season whilst waiting for announcements and competitions. Here's a vid on just turned 13 yo Patrick FS in the 2004 Jnr Nationals.

Anyone knows where Sasha skates ... apparently from other board - Patrick and Sasha are skating together likely in NYC. Hackensack? Petrenko? or other areas near NYC?

HI Pani
Twitter from Sasha Cohen that she is off to skate with the incredibe Pchiddy!
I think you are a very good sleuth - can you find out if they are in Hackensack?

I'm hoping we will learn more about coaching and programs in a few weeks when Skate Canada hosts their Team camp.

Wonder if he will compete in the ProAm in Japan. Would be great to see his skills put up against a Canadian great like Jeff Buttle once again, who is already listed as participating.

Indulge me this gross speculation, but if anyone would understand it would be you!...so thirsty during the off season, latching onto any detail!!! Anyway, looking at the program notes for the upcoming ATS show, Patrick's sticking with Mannish Boy and his new Coldplay program. The fabulous Rachmoninoff appears to have been retired...which is odd, because it is fabulous. So...has it been converted to a competitive program? OH GOD the anticipation for the new season is overwhelming.

Jess, thats my speculation too.

Patrick likes Rachmaninoff - he skated to him the year before the Olys in his LP. I felt from day 1 that his use of that ex program was a kind of dress rehearsal for both Buttle and his next year's program.

I absolutely adore Patrick's skating - I cannot tell you how wonderful his skating is live. I was privileged to have on ice seats at an awards show last year where he skated a few feet away. His blades mesmerized me. With barely a couple of pushes he was right across the ice - his movements so smooth and effortless using his edges to power him. That is why casual observers think nothing of him while he garners those huge marks from judges.

I also saw his skating in relation to others at last years GPF. While he wasnt at his best his ease and flow are fabulous in comparison to others who try to make their laboured efforts look like they flow with ease. All thanks to Mr Colson's training and focus on skating skills over jumps.
