Thank you vigiliae! Those photos are charming. If you say your photographing was "Epic Fail", then, I really wanna wait for your next chance;).

Has Patrick been offered the Canadian Tour of SOI?

Partick was offered the CSOI tour in 2010.
He once accepted the tour but canceled them after the Worlds.

I understand he needed the time to refresh, think about his future and regain his energy after the Olympic. That was a necessary step for him. But because of that, I don't think he'll have another chance to join CSOI in the future.

Thanks for the insight ali dorate. I recalled an interview where he said he was so disappointed with himself having failed to live up to expectations placed on him in Vancouver that he thought of giving up figure skating. Elite FS is a long hard road.

I suspect he makes far more money skating in Asia than the 12 stops of the Canadian SOI tour...

I received a newsletter from About.com Figure Skating earlier today with a very nice article regarding Patrick and his coach.

Patrick was much better today. Both performances were fantastic, landed all the jumps. I believe I saw him even landing 3A in Elegy :kickass: He nearly hit the screen once while landing a certain jump(cannot remember which)

Too bad Elegy was cut in the broadcast. The whole program was damn good and made me speechless. Everything was there-beautiful transitional movements perfectly suited with the music, full of well-controlled emotions, and last but not the least, his masterful skating. Too bad I don't know enough words to fully describe what I felt watching it. Hope some fanvids will be uploaded soon.

Here's my photos of Patrick from two days shows.

Thank you very much Vigilae for taking the trouble in taking all the great pictures of Patrick and the cast, and uploading here to share with us. Much appreciated. It looks like Patrick was posing in front of your camera.
I love the shots of the guys ... they look like they are having a lot of FUN. Patrick and Maxim..the two goofs, and I like Tatiana's smiley tights too. :D

Vigiliae, thanks for the photos and the report on Patrick's performances today. I watched the online broadcast from Carolina Kostner through the end and I kicked myself for missing Elegy, thanks for letting us know that it's not broadcast. But you're right, Patrick was very good in Mannish Boy. I hope both programmes will be uploaded by someone soon.

Unfortunately I can't record his program with my camera.(He is so fast!)
Chan showed the audience his great programs during three days.
In Elegy, his skating with upper body movement is too beautiful for words.
I feel his skating has made improvement. He is amazing.

Thanks, Simone. I'm guessing we now know everything we need to know about Johnson. She has quite an impressive resume and if she is the one behind Patrick growing into such a graceful and stylish skater - and sexy too in Mannish Boy:cool: - I can only be happy those two will keep working together.:)

You took amazing pictures, vigiliae. Thanks to you and totoro for the quick reviews of Patrick's skates.

This picture below is for Clarie, she will know why.;)

What!? They cut Elegy from the broadcast?!!!

Unbelievable, the broadcasters has no taste.. it is one of the best gala this year and a wonderful showcase of the newly artistically upgraded Patrick Chan 2.0.

Someone should be fired or hang their head in shame!!
