My words during the program were "I am watching genius! How lucky am I to be watching genius!?"
and this was said out loud but not actually to anyone during the freeskate!

Thanks for the posting that and for the positivity everyone! :)

Thanks for reminding us walei, it's been awhile since I watched it, but beautiful to see.

I would like to see Patrick win the GPfinal, but what I really hope is that he "peaks" for Worlds. I would love to see that beautiful program skated to its maximum potential when it is most important to do so.....:)

This caught my eye:
"... Chan, who plans to introduce a quadruple-Salchow to his free skate by next month."

P.S. There's an entire thread devoted to this article in GSD.

I was a little surprised by that, actually. I knew at the beginning of the season he intended on adding the quad salchow, but I thought he'd wait a little while longer (as in next season). If he takes to the 4S as easily as he did the 4T.... well, that 22 point difference might seem like peanuts.

I started to read the comments in that thread and had to exit. I don't want to get that discussion started here. I'm loving the positivity for this incredibly talented young man in this thread. I was starting to think that I was his only fan.

Come on Patrick, perfect programs this weekend!!

I knew as soon as I read that article that it would bring out the haterz. Even more grateful for this thread right about now!
