Patrick Chan Uber Thread

His new gala exhibition definitely shows he is an artist on the ice.

Maybe for the competitive programs he needs to jam pack with transitions that he could not telegraph the emotions with prolonged body gestures but that is a COP problem.

Saw Patrick's new gala. Anyone think this is going to be part of his Olympic program... just speculating.

I hope he changes both short and long next year. But dont know whether he will stay with Aranjuez for 1more year.

I thought he said he was fed up with the music for Take five. Its a bit hokey.

Jettasian, I bought my London worlds tickets second day they came out. And still seats were just ok - not great. The worst was the next day but DD was able to get 2 seats centre ice row A. But I didnt want to have two extra tickets at the high cost.

Canadian tickets will be out in September. If Patrick is skating at the Margaret Garrison show I will for sure go for it. Its in Brampton. Last year we had on ice tickets in centre ice and it was amazing. Otherwise I am not sure I will go though there will be Poirier/hill & Ralph and a few others. It was a very fun show last year.

First off the exhibition# was:swoon:The best of the gala. I wish that could somehow be a program for him. I just loved it.
Definitely 2 new programs next season. He's skated them both a lot and if he's bored now forget it. Fresh start, fresh choreography, it's the pre-olympic season! Vancouver seems like yesterday.
Oh and that poll:rolleyes: why not just put 'Who hates Patrick?' instead. I can't help wonder if you inserted someone elses name like Dai or Brian what would happen. I just don't get the venomous hatred for Pat, it's vicious at times. Poor kid, he can't control his marks and his fellow skaters seem to really like him, he's nice guy. Okay he's said some off the mark things but who hasn't? We should all be so perfect.

Can't find it on youtube, anyone know where I can find it? Here in the US they're not showing any figure skating on the main channels and I don't have Universal sports.

What really bugs me about the Patrick’s anti-fans is that they seem incapable of giving there own favorite a complement without insulting or putting Patrick down. If Daisuke Takahashi is you guy, great say he has the best musicality but don’t the he is so much better than that over marked Patrick Chan because you are not raising Daisuke up by pushing Patrick down you are only making yourself look like a sore looser.

Chang is perhaps is the least inspiring Men's skating champion in DECADES.

Sorry, but he is just a dull character. As he even said in a recent interview " the Cop has ruined skating. I remember when programs were "EPIC."

I remember too when we saw more than Chang's sloppy, uninspired noodling ...... and Men skated like Men,,,,,and not like the girlie partner of an Ice Dancing Team.

This may be a great sport for the Asians but most Americans find it silly if not girlie.

Yea for Patrick , the best girlie man in sport.
