The "fan" vid taken from that angle shows the speed at which he skates much better than the network cameras. From one end to the other in a couple of seconds doing footwork....amazing!!!

maybe there are too many of you trying to access this mindblowing skate?

Ha!--could be. Altho I can't load any of the men's vids at all, not just Patrick's. I had no trouble with any of the Day 1 stuff--hope this doesn't mean none of the Day 2 events will be available.

Patrick's skate is up on YT:

Finally got to see it. What can you say? Simply amazing! I know he's gonna win but I'm still excited to see how he skates today.

Unbelievable skate from Patrick yesterday! I sick of the program (and costume, please get a new one!), but the skating was out of this world. So happy for him and should be a big confidence booster going into 4CCs and Worlds.

Happy to see him get Level 4 and all +3s for the straightline footwork. It's just incredible how he flies down the length of the ice all on one foot like that. It's interesting to me that one of his spins was only Level 3 which means his mark would have been even higher than 101.

Hoping and praying for a clean or almost clean skate today. Really want to see this program without any falls!

Just looked looked at the detailed protocols and there are points left on the table. He only got level 3 for two of his spins in the LP. Unreal what he might have scored had all his elements at this competition been level 4!

Anyway, way to go Patrick!! It's all very reminiscent of last year's Canadians. :D

I have wanted to see Patrick's Arenjuez skated to its' potential.
I guess I don't have long to wait.

What is this about, did he already skate his LP? What do you mean by 300?

That's the second step sequence. It's always called level 1 for everyone and graded only on execution.
