Plenty remains to be seen and determined, but at this point, which up and coming ladies are most promising and enjoyable to watch?

I find Elizaveta Tuktamysheva's skating the most exciting. It's just fun to watch someone who can jump, especially in the ladies' event. I hope it holds up over time. I also like the confidence Elizaveta showed at Skate Canada.

I didn't like Adelina Sotnikova's SP, but she won me over with the FS. She skates with ease, and I think her presentation is great for someone so young. If she starts to get over her nerves, it should really come out.

Haruka Imai's SP is one of my favorites this year. It's very simple in a beautiful way. I hope she's able to skate a better LP at her next event because it looks like it could be really good.

I have exactly the same feelings about Tuktamysheva and Sotnikova.

Adelina and Risa are my favorites. But I also have a soft spot for Christina Gao. Adelina and Risa are both just so gorgeous though!

Sot and Tuk had better enjoy all the hoopla while it lasts, because Julia will bury them next season.

I voted for Haruka. I think she is a gorgeous skater. Too bad she is inconsistent.

What happened to Courtney Hicks? Surprised not to see her name.

She unfortunately will miss the rest of this season due to injury - article: http://web.icenetwork.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20111012&content_id=25619922&vkey=ice_news

In any case, Hicks's name is a notable omission from the poll considering she did win a gold medal on the JGP this fall.

So will Sotnikova, Tuktamisheva and Lipnitskaya go head-to-head at Russian Senior Nationals, Junior Nationals (to qualify for Jr. Worlds), and 2012 Junior Worlds?

What about Vanessa Lam, the only American to make the JGP Final!

Love her, but when/if she grows her jumps are gonna abandon her I bet - no height whatsoever on the jumps. They work now because she's about 5 feet and 90 pounds, but I wonder if she'll stay that tiny for long, she still has a very young look about her despite being 16.

Oh that's a good joke!
Still Julia's just won the 4-th russian cup senior event. She was really good.
