I love her hair up and the color of this dress. However, I feel it's not my favorite, a bit too busy for my taste.

OMG I LOVE that dress - she looks absolutely sensational!!! And her hair is up - I think for the first time as a working royal - and it is so beautiful. Prince William looks very proud and and maybe just little possessive - the hand on her back is very telling IMHO - but who could blame him

But I really need to say - I.WANT.THAT.DRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW none of the celebs they showed hold a candle to our Kate - no one came close!!

I love her hair up and the color of this dress. However, I feel it's not my favorite, a bit too busy for my taste.The color is glorious -- but I liked the style of the ivory gown better. Those shoes are getting a lot of wear -- PRLady would approve of the amortization. ;)

Scrolling down, poor Jayne Torvill desperately needs help w/ a makeover -- that dress is so unflattering to the boobage and her hair! :yikes:

Holy WOW!! Now *that's* a dress and then some. Kate looked amazing at this Gala and she needs to wear that colour more often. It really suits her.

The Duke and Duchess of Parma welcomed a healthy baby girl on Wednesday. From The Royal Forums...


The couple have named their daughter Luisa Irene Constance Anna Maria. Irene is in honour of Prince Carlos’s mother, Princess Irene of the Netherlands. Constance is in honour of Princess Annemarie’s grandmother and sister, while Anna is for her mother.

In many cultures, it's traditional for a bride to wear her hair down for her wedding.
It was supposed to indicate "purity".

I really love the style she wore for this Gala.

Love, love, love the hair. Such a beautiful updo! I also love the color of the dress, but the style isn't a home run for me. Still pretty, but I'm not 100% crazy about it.

I love this dress (esp. the delicate lace and the gorgeous color (my fave)) and I would have loved to see it with a tiara, but I am hoping Kate has another :glamor: look in her bag of tricks for her first post-marriage tiara event!!! :D

There's the Jubliee events and also the Order of the Garter service, Trooping the Colour and Royal Ascot to come first though. Going to be an exciting Summer of Royal Watching. :D :D :D

Plus, there will also be more than a few foreign Royals attending the Games too. Either as Members of the IOC or just to cheer on their fellow countrymen and women. So there's a *very* big Summer ahead of all of us. :D
