I recall reading that the "Imperial State Crown" has been specially adjusted to fit HMQ.

I remember reading that on days when HM has to wear it, she'll put it on earlier in the day to practice wearing it so she's used to the weight! (If I had that many tiaras and crowns at my disposal I'd wear them to walk the dogs, have a midnight snack, watch TV...but I'm sure the novelty would wear off. After a while.)

And that's some coat, too. (http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/06C87LAdNS3mN/x610.jpg)

I love that no matter what the Queen is doing or how she is dressed, she always carries a handbag. What has she got in it...a lace hankie, a spare set of keys to the palace.....beer money and cab fare?

Meanwhile, Charles is planning for a second career in case the Queen just keeps reigning. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-18018232)

This part is fun:

The Queen’s handbag has often been described as her “comfort blanket”. She has been said to use it to indicate to subtlety communicate with her staff.

I had heard that many years ago - and I recall a Ben Wicks cartoon that suggested what it meant when she held different numbers of fingers against her handbag.

Just saw Charles' weather broadcast over at YouTube and I am beyond impressed. He came off so professional and was a real natural. Very, very impressed.

It's Tiara Thursday over at the Order of Splendour and...

Looks vaguely familiar, doesn't it? ;)

If what this picture looks like, is real, then...

Could an Heir for Monaco be on it's way? (http://i45.tinypic.com/mkdjt1.jpg)

Allegedly, this isn't the only time in the past few weeks where Charlene looks like she's got a wee bit of a tummy showing. Nothing official yet, but...

Let the tummy watch and wondering begin!!

I thought he in particular did a great job, and it showed both of them in a very positive light. And did I hear Charles actually say "hell"? He may be the first royal since Henry VIII to swear!

If true, I'm happy for her.
However, I've never seen HSH look really happy.
That bothers me.

The pile of poop in which the Spanish Royals appear to have stepped grows bigger by the day...... (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2142358/Spains-King-Juan-Carlos-Queen-Sofia-shun-Golden-Wedding-celebrations.html)

'Tis sad, actually. Especially 'cuz HM El Rey was so bad-ass awesome (and *HOT*) after the coup......

Any FSU Spaniards have some good dish on this?
