Tomorrow is Maundy Thursday and here's an excellent posting about it all at Carolyn Harris' site...

Carolyn Harris: Royal Historian ~ Queen Elizabeth II, the Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Beatrice to attend Royal Maundy Service at York Minster, April 5, 2012 (http://www.royalhistorian.com/queen-elizabeth-ii-the-duke-of-edinburgh-and-princess-beatrice-to-attend-royal-maundy-service-at-york-minster-april-5-2012/)

Well...Guess one of those won't be added to my Collection sadly. I still haven't found the Aragorn and Arwen Barbie dolls from LOTR and starting to wonder if I will or not. EBay usually has them priced a bit too far out of my range, so I have looked there, but...

Anyway...Was going through the Jewels Forum at The Royal Forums and I guess someone has worn a piece of Tutti Frutti from a respective collection (my bet's on Maxima, as it just fits w/her and personality and she's been seen wearing the Tutti Frutti stuff the Dutch Collection has), because the thread about it has popped back up over there.

I like it. I know it's not everyone's taste, but I do like it, as it's different and showcases the jewels off in a different, but neat way.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about...Juwelen-Schmuck ~ Tutti Frutti (http://www.royal-magazin.de/gallerie/tutti-frutti.htm)

Looking so forward to this weekend and all of the various Royal sightings. Especially of the little ones, as sometimes it's only Easter, Christmas and Official Portraits when we get to see them.

Speaking of that...The three little Dutch Princesses are now on special stamps to raise money for Charity in Holland. Apparently this is a tradition w/the Royals, as both their Grandmother and Father were on stamps in the past. Haven't been able to find too many pictures to share over here, but still looking. The one I saw of Princess Alexia though...The spitting image of her Mother. She's going to be a heartbreaker in a few years. :)

I love it!
Tasteful usage of the three traditional precious stones.

Excellent news about one of Kate's Charities...

I was thinking earlier this evening when chatting w/my sister about how sad a weekend this will be for the Dutch Royal Family. The first really major holiday since Prince Friso's accident. :(

Eugenie looked absolutely lovely, streamlined and fitted without the too-tight look she's been showing lately.

This was cute:

Freedom Scott Tansley, ten, from Glasgow, said it was the 12th time he had met the monarch.
'When the Queen came up to me she said, 'oh so you're back here now again',' he said

A huge honour for the Duchess of Cormwall from HM QEII:

The Queen makes Camilla a Dame Grand Cross (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-17654777)

Especially with it coming on the 7th wedding anniversary of Charles and Camilla.

Crown Princess Letizia and Princess Elena look like they're dressed for a shopping expedition, not Easter Mass. :(
