This (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2115407/Duchess-Cambridge-Kate-Middleton-joins-British-Olympic-team-game-hockey.html) article was posted on another board. Love getting to see Kate enjoy herself so much!

Seems Kate had better luck during her shots on goal yesterday than her husband did last Summer up in the Territories. :D

Loved the dress she wore to the Art Gallery.

Wow - those are skinny, skinny jeans - and they make her look so thin  That should put to bed any rumours that she might be pregnant  But love how naturally she fitted in there - her joy was apparent to all who saw her. Great that she is getting on so well with Charles and Camilla as well - she has certainly been looked after by the family with William being away - though he is due back in a week so not much longer to wait now Kate!!

Looking at the picture of Kate standing in jeans and runners I can't help but notice that much of her height is in her body. She has fabulous legs, no doubt, but they don't look nearly as long as I thought they were. I'd always assumed she was like Diana, long legs, short body, but she really isn't. She is actually perfectly proportioned. I suspect that is why she has found that shorter skirts and high heels are her best look because it lengthens her legs.

It may sound a bit crude, but she is really bringing a great set of genes into the Royal family. She is smart, tall, and good looking. The combination of William and Kate could produce some amazingly gorgeous kids!

(Oh, I don't think the jeans make her look thin, I think she really is that thin!)

I don't know that I've ever seen Charles look that human, and like he was really enjoying himself - so nice to see. :)

He seems to have softened in the past few years - I think finally being able to marry the woman he loved all those years has brought a contentment that was never there before. I just wish Diana had had the same chance to be happy (IMHO Dodi Al Fayhed was not it) and share times like this with the wife of one of her sons :(

I wish that Diana and Charles could have shared times like that together. If only their maraige had been a happy one... :(:(:(

In some ways, I think things might have been different for Kate had Diana lived. If the coldness in the family had continued, Kate might have been forced to choose a side, and becoming close to her husband's mother might have actually worked against her. Plus, I believe that Diana's untimely death and the subsequent outpouring from her subjects as well as people around the world had quite an effect on the Queen, paving the way for the kind of warm and open relationship she now seems to have with Kate. And, I think Kate has more of a chance to establish her own personality - while the comparisons continue to happen, it would have been more so had Diana still been alive, active in her own charities, and in the celebrity spotlight.

Not saying I wish it either way, just thinking about what might have been.

More of the Duchess of Cambridge - she is certainly increasing her engagements now. Here she is presenting shamrocks to the Irish Guards:

I am sure this is old and boring news to royal watchers, but just want to share apparently Prince Harry was visiting the Grand Cayman island earlier this month. Two very good friends of ours happened to be there on the same day and met him. They just told me today.

My DH and I almost went on the same trip with our friends but we eventually decided on a different destination and missed the chance brushing shoulders with royalty. :glamor: Well, not that it would have changed my decision or anything.
