For some reason "Michael" just don't especially sound kingly to me.

Don't tell King Michael of Romania that. :D

Duke of Cambridge intervenes with FIFA over poppy ban (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15643295.stm)

It was just announced on the news that FIFA have somewhat backed down and allowed the England team to wear poppies on black armbands for their match with Spain on Saturday. It's a disgrace that they initially wouldn't allow it. Well done Wills :cheer:

More baby speculation. I can't imagine having the entire world waiting for me to get pregnant - must be quite stressful.

And this one seems to be based on nothing more than her parents came to visit her? Can't these "journalists" find something to do that might be more interesting and leave the couple alone?

Do they not have anything more important to report on than this?

Get a new hobby, baby-stalkers, yeesh. Or they could, you know, speculate on royals that were actually pregnant...

Some of them in the thread I read declared her to be far inferior to Chelsy Davy who is, according to them, brilliant, deep and suitably ambitious
But look at which one she chose :scream:

If we exclude names because they were the names of mistresses of Edward Vll we would have a very short list indeed.;)
And in very few languages.

Some actress I don't know will portray Diana: http://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/the-projector/jessica-chastain-princess-di-155332918.html

Jessica Chastain has recently been in "The Tree of Life" and "The Help".

I wonder if the window of opportunity for a movie about Diana has passed. It's been more than a decade, and I'm not saying she's been replaced, but people have moved on. Even efforts by media to resurrect her in the months leading up to the wedding in April seem to have fallen flat - I don't think anyone was particularly interested in making comparisons, or going over old ground yet again.

There are other ways to celebrate her life - as they did during the wedding, and by continuing her charity work for example. But to bring up the details of her life now, when her ex husband and sons seem to be doing just fine, would just make the whole thing seem so sad and pathetic, no? Wouldn't it be better to remember the good stuff, without having to go through the tragedy of it all again?
